behind North Carolina State..hmmmm..Could it be that the mmedia is not impressed with the talent at uavel or maybe the criminals that Jurich keeps on trying to rehabilitate are casting an ugly glow at Loserville.
Don't know and don't care..Honest Bobby has his own image problems and that ain't going away soon..
After SEC foe Auburn crap kicks Little Brother all those polls will drop them like Pitino dropped his trousers at Porcini,,[smoke][laughing]:pimp:

Let's not forget He had all of Charlie's players last year. Transfers, Jucos, girlfriend beaters.....does not sound like much of a TEAM concept. Let's see how all of this plays out . If their offensive Line gets it together they may be better than expected.

You seem to only post about UL. Truth of the matter, they have a ton of questions going into the season esp at QB. Still, with their schedule and also some questions at FSU and Clemson, I expect them to win 9 games at least. I don't think Auburn kicks the crap out of them. I don't know if they'll win but I think the game is going to be close. First game of the season, neutral site, and some questions with Auburn too.

Not sure. Auburn's d-line may very well smash Louisville's offensive line. The difference between Auburn and UK last year is that Auburn is every bit as opportunistic as UK is at causing fumbles and getting interceptions, but Auburn, majority of the time, will put points on the board on a defense that has a lot of questions (or hell, any defense, even elite ones really), especially by putting the ball in the air, and Louisville without a doubt has a lot of questions on defense, namely in the secondary. Defensively, both teams were roughly the same (for some reason, I can't imagine why, considering how talented they always are, and how UK was undersized and lacked depth).

AU's Dline was not very good last year and they lost a couple off it. Of course they get Lawson back, but he is coming back from a very bad knee injury, more than just a torn ACL they thought his career might be over for awhile. Will he be the same player or not? Beating AU depends on being able to contain that dive they run, or has, Johnson is suppose to be a much better passer, than even Cam but not near the runner. UofL may not have to face Duke Williams, per Gus he is working out some discipline issues. If UofL can handled AU's dive and not have to bring a S to stop it AU is in trouble on offense. Its simple, high schoolish, he has basically added a 4th option to the triple option, qb pitches at the corner, keeps or hits the WR if the DB comes up for run support and the S is late getting over because he was keying the dive. Their back will be new, a JUCO guy about the size of Chubb.

Don't like it Don't read it!

not according to WDRB and Rick Bozich Little Brother ESPN ranked N.C. third, behind Clemson and Florida State, and the Cardinals fourth in the Atlantic. N.C. State was ranked 42nd overall, Louisville 44th. Not a huge gap.

That was their votes...the official ACC Media Votes was Louisville 3rd in the Atlantic...but you can believe what you want...even linked it for you from the CJ Article on the ACC Media Day Vote...here is another link:

Atlantic Division
(First place votes in parenthesis)
1. Clemson (101) - 1,032
2. Florida State (56) - 992
3. Louisville (1) - 746
4. NC State - 673
5. Boston College - 473
6. Syracuse - 291
7. Wake Forest - 217

Coastal Division
(First place votes in parenthesis)
1. Georgia Tech (96) - 991
2. Virginia Tech (44) - 841
3. Miami (7) - 632
4. Duke (4) - 615
5. North Carolina (4) - 590
6. Pitt (3) -535
7. Virginia -220

I realize theres not a lot to talk about until the first game but I still don't care about Louisville until the week we play them. Also pre-season rankings are always trash by week 5.

They must have meant 4th in the ACC. According to the voting, that's where they stand.

I'm not getting why Auburn is supposed to be invincible. They folded the last half of the season almost as badly as we did. they went 1-4 over the last 5 games with their lone W coming against Samford. I don't see the game vs. UL as a gimme for them.

I actually do agree that NC St is marginally better than UL with fewer question marks going into the season. The Wolfpack were one of the hottest teams in the ACC at season's end and Doeren has recruited really well. They're going to be able to score a lot more points than UL and their defense will be good enough to hold their own against UL. UL will win 7-8 games because the ACC is down pretty bad right now. I'd honestly rank the ACC last of the P5 conferences. It hurts the ACC that FSU and Clemson aren't likely to be championship contenders

That was the ACC Coaches picks, not ESPN, Fox, CBS, AP, Coaches picks. EVERYONE else has them 4th.

Would be surprised if the #1 pick came from anyone but a UL coach.

Everyone has major question marks in the ACC

I agree as well. Wouldn't surprise me if UL was 1st or 7th no one in the ACC this season is a clear cut favorite and a proven favorite. No hands down proven permers. Fl St last season squeaked by in a bunch of games and got mauled when they stepped out of conference against another good team. And they have lost some talent off last years team that would pull them out of deficits.
Clemson had some key injuries and lost a lot.
UL lost a bunch and they got half their field full of transfers and you wonder how well they will mesh.
Georgia tech closed the season out strong, as good as any team that would be ranked top 5. Who knows how they will look as they always seem to underperform.
Notre Dame ....not in the ACC but plays what 5 teams? They could easily deliver them some losses or they themselves be a jeckle / Hyde team.
Virginia Tech had a big win at Ohio St and disappeared after that. Prob will be no where around this year.
I could go on and on about every team in the ACC it's a truly open league and anybody can win it.
If any of those teams where playing on the PAC 12 or SEC then They will have multiple losses and be mid tier.

T.P.E., Were do you think Cards pre-season should be ranked? Some South Carolina folks say Clemson is way over ranked! Course some may be Gamecock fans!

Clemson has talent but the issue with them is this:

1. Chad Morris their OC is now the HC for SMU.

2. They return only if I not mistaken 4 Total Starters from 2014....they lost their entire Front Seven on Defense including all of their backups and return only 1 OLinemen which was their Center in 2014.

3. Their QB DeShawn Watson is recovering from torn ACL Surgery.

Now they have recruited extremely well but no way should they be IMO favored to win the ACC Over FSU and Georgia Tech

Both Auburn and UL are teams with lots of question marks, and it's still too early in August to know how good they will be or how quickly they can start solving their problem areas. Auburn should handle UL in the opener, but openers are when you sometimes see surprises in games of this kind. Given Auburn's ups and downs over the last several years, and given their personnel losses after last year, I want to see the War Eagles play a couple of games before I form an expectation about our home game against them in October.

Auburn is going to curb stomped loserville and show them what big oy SEC football is all about. They have no qb,no line,no recievers and a piss poor coach that is the most overrated college coach in the last decade. Not to mention they still recruit like they are playing in the conference usa. They will be lucky to make a bowl from here on out. Teddy and Dovante ain't walking thru papa johns tardinal stadium!

Go CATS!!!

The one i used was ACC Media Day...doesnt really matter...after finishing 3rd in the ACC last year with a entire new coaching staff...replacing 3 NFL 1st Round Picks we will be just fine in my opinion in 2015...the OP mentioned the media voy and was incorrect:

PINEHURST, N.C. -- If Clemson is going to win the ACC in 2015, as the media gathered at the 2015 ACC Football Kickoff in Pinehurst are predicting, it will likely be thanks to quarterback Deshaun Watson, the media's preseason player of the year.

Watson received 69 votes, with James Conner (46) and Justin Thomas (13) as the only other players to receive double-digit votes. Cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and Kendall Fuller received votes, as the ACC does have two of the nation's top corners in the league.

In terms of the predicted order of finish, Clemson edged out Florida State but nearly doubled the Seminoles' number of first-place votes. This is the first time Georgia Tech has been picked to win the Coastal since 2008, a stretch where the Yellow Jackets have won the division four times.

Atlantic Division (First place votes in parenthesis)

1. Clemson (101) – 1,032

2. Florida State (56) - 992

3. Louisville (1) - 746

4. NC State - 673

5. Boston College - 473

6. Syracuse - 291

3. Miami (7) - 632

4. Duke (4) - 615

6. Pitt (3) -535

7. Virginia -220

All trolling aside, it wouldn't shock me if UL fell as low as 8th in the standings. And in their defense, UK wouldn't finish any higher.

But it won't shock me if they finish higher either.

Not Trolling at all...the ACC in 2015 is a jumbled mess...FSU, Clemson, Louisville, NC State, Miami, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Duke can all win the league this year...FSU has the most talent but Winston bailed them out all last year and Cook has the legal issues.

Exactly.

You can kinda put FSU/Miami/Clemson ahead of the pack based squarely on talent, but that doesn't mean they will win it. However, Louisville will have to steal a couple to finish ahead of any of those 3.

Clemson has always recruited extremely well and then underachieved. They choke more than most programs. They always have an embarrassment of riches and do nothing with it.

HAHAHA, the former TTCat and homerblue is back under yet another username. Pathetically obsessed.

The one thing that is very apparent is Louisville will have Four New Starters on the Offensive Line...Tobiah Hughley last year Starting Center has lost his Starting Position...also, just a prediction by the time we play Kentucky Kenny Thomas-(True Freshmen) will be also starting on the OLine,

Nope, that's homerblue and TTCat's new username. It's a UL troll that is posing as a UK fan, and posting subtle sarcastic comments in hopes of making the fanbase look bad. I don't know if he has three different usernames, or if he keeps getting banned. I'm positive it's the same poster based on the posting style. I've never seen more obsession.
