Alright guys

Let's try to turn our attention from a tough loss to everyone's favorite thing...beating the Cardinals on the basketball court.

What about U of L bball brings YOU the most joy?

I like the fact that we have a winning record with them on ther own home court. Thats ownage.

CBS Sports has the Dirty Birds ranked #8 in their poll and all they have beat is cupcakes.

I was in the Valley of Pitifulneas last Friday as my wife graduated from there. I was amazed Pres Ramsey even mentioned the hardship of the Summer of accusations and investigation.

Figure it out this week, boys. My wife will make it tough on my son and me if you don't.

I love our recent record over that little city team. My wife hates it.

Rick "Bozo " Bozich voted Lil Brother ahead of UK in the AP Poll this week. Are you kidding..uavel has played only 1 game with an RPI lower than 75 and lost that one..I guess the victory over the Convent of St.Francis of Brooklyn was the turning point..Uhh Huhh..We will see Saturday as the Red Pigeons return to Hell on Earth for ESCORTino..It may be close for awhile but methinks the Cats end up sending Lil Brother back to Loserville with their tail feathers plucked..

Hate is such an ugly word.....true but an ugly word...[sick] I don't always upchuck..but when I do, it's on a Lewisville fan.

The thing that I enjoy most about UofL is the fact that they had to pay low rent hookers just to get low rent players.

And their philandering, sex addict coaches.

And every other absurd athletic and non-athletic scandal that's taken place at that University in the last 5 years.

Also, the hypocrisy of their fans.

As well as Cal owning their asses since arriving here.

In fact, most of the things they do over there tends to bring me joy in a sadistic way. I very much look forward to that continuing on Saturday.

UK and Louisville have the two most wins over the past 4 and a half years - in the entire nation. They both are always in the top 3 of attendance figures going back to when Rupp was constructed, with UofL going back even farther than that. These are the two best programs in college basketball, lol, in recent times, including National Championships and Final Fours.. The truth is, when all is said and done, missing a sense of pride about our often-maligned state, demeans us both............but what do we care, lol?

The hatred seems so misplaced sometimes. I admit I fall for it now and then too, having said that. The rivalry is all you could want. An urban university versus the state school. Enormous fan interest which gets contagious nation-wide sometimes when we are both ranked. Hilarious stories of guys fighting during dialysis treatments, ha ha. Grover's epic leading Pitino's little parade while posing as a policeman. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: So many years of avoidance ........Crum and Joe B, the classy Tubby taking his and Rick's team to a Championship back when even Louisville fans were pulling for UK (me, anyway, up in Portland, Oregon). The regret UK fans must have felt losing Rick to the Celts and now to UofL when they fully know that UK would be closing in on, if not exceeding UCLA's NC numbers, had he stayed. Now there he is at the top of his game.

The storylines are incredibly rich here in the state of Kentucky. I opine that I believe the hatred has become something rather new, owing to many factors. I also believe revenge is so foremost in the minds of UK fans owing to recent football domination by Louisville. I wish it would tone down some. I miss the healthier exchanges with UK fans like BKO and CindyLou, among many others, including HiCat, Vern and Hot Dice, which we used to play so ardently with on the old AOL boards. That was often so fun and nutzo.

I realize I have stirred the pot and there are times anymore when I regret being vicious myownself. But my opinion is at least an honest appeal to get us to realizing we are both assets to our times. These are some seriously marvelous basketball days and team in the Commonwealth. If we miss it amid all the rancor, we won't get these days back again.

Good luck and let's all hope for an injury free game, full of thrills.

Mods....this 'Senore' D-Bag is Zipp, version 2. Please rid our board of this vermin. Now as for the OP... "What about U of L bball brings YOU the most joy?"

...the way they annually pump themselves up in the belief that they will beat UK, only to have their hopes crushed once again.

I agree with everyone who has posted earlier, except for Senore. The only thing that I can add is my love for all things Katina. I hope this scandal brings down that bunch of cheaters, and makes the rest of the country aware of what we have known, for years.

Little brothel, Looserville, Otis, Chum Bucket, UofSmell, what else do you have?

Hate, that is a strong word which I use very rarely. The venom that exists between the fanbases (and NEITHER side is better than the other in this) is truly sad. That so many continue to feed that demon shows a lack of maturity. Good luck to both teams and may the better team win, it usually does.

After hearing everything about uofL, the last thing we want to do is make fun of them, instead we just win. Thats what counts.

Our buddy "Senore" is going to run back to his little board and cry that we were being "jerks".....

Yes, UK's recent football loss is the key revenge factor for the upcoming game, not the 1-7 record Rick has against UK since Cal arrive.

It's time for you to log off and take a nap.

Nice try but, I don't see a bunch of conniving thieves who pay hookers/strippers and employ liars and abortionists as much of an asset to this State.
You know how I know you're full of shyt? Because you referenced Tard fans pulling for UK. That has never happened and never will. We don't "regret" losing RP to Lewisville either. Knowing what we know now, they are a perfect fit.
UofHell is and always will be OTIS. If they never win another game I wouldn't shed a single, solitary tear.
Here's a photo that will better help you understand how I really feel about the Looeyville Linebirds...
