I don't like UL anymore than most UK fans, but calling them out for complaining about refs when UK fans are notorious for that seems a bit much. Every single game there is at least one thread here moaning about the refs are giving the game to the other team. Every game! It's predictable as sunrise. Is officiating awful at times. Absolutely. They ruin some games, but it cuts both ways. And yea your handle is a bit ironic given the subject. Not that they don't deserve ridicule for their current scandal.

I personally think that as always, UofL will play us tough and keep the game close through their physical play but I don't think that they will beat us.

They should be concerned with how corrupt the entire university is. Not just athletics, the entire university. Three admins have been under investigation by the FBI for 14 months and they didn't even get put on administrative leave until the media covered it this week!
this is how they justify losing to us in an ugly game. they tell themselves that they are gonna run and press and score and just be awesome but then when the game gets here they will hack, slap, push, slow down, and generally make it an ugly slow "paste" game. then they can justify, in their minds, that they only lost because of the refs and because we were scared to run with them.
if we were better from the ft line we'd win easy but i think this is gonna be a nail biter now. we win but it will be ugly... like all of ul's games against superior talent.
As long as we are shooting free throws well that game, we are fine. We'll shoot a ton of them in that game.
Louisville has a bunch of big guys, who are foul prone, so the cats wil be at the line. Louisville has four guys that can shoot. Louisville will be better than expected on defense. Kentucky is going to get punched in he mouth in this game, and will need to show some toughness. If they respond, they will win a tough game. If they fold, it is the start of a long season...

Louisville isn't a bunch of tough guys. You don't know how to play physical ball within the rules. They're cleaning up all the non basketball nonsense of grabbing and fouling and hip checking down the court. Your big guys aren't exactly intimidating. It's weird. The only reason UK is 7-1 vs UofL is due to talent and cause we're supposed to win. Well, in those 8 games, UK has been favored 4 times and UofL 4 times. Strange that UofL has been so short handed vs UK that they've been favored 4 times and won only one time.
Well, if you look very carefully, you'll notice Cal slipping bennies to the head ref during every time out.
Once again I will say this......once Michigan State woke up from their lull of playing 5 games in 8 days in different cities they outscored Louisville by 20 until the final minute of the game.
After beating them,in December we hear this crap every year,about how they want a rematch in the tourney,except after they got put out by UK,then they shut up for a season and wanted no part of Kentucky the next year.
