Louisville and UNC: love affair over.

That ended quickly. UL now pissed off that UNC is "getting away with fraud". Oh but I thought they were such good buddies? UNC is a "victim" according to Louisville before this went down. Check their board for more info. Here's a nice little write up by our buddy @uncfan in ky on their scandal.

No classes were created just for student athletes. There was easy classes on campus that athletes found out about & enrolled. The violations that accrued are results from athletic advisors asking for certain athletes being placed in those classes. None of which where men's basketball players.
There's a lot of false information being thrown around thanks to uk, Dook & NC State fans."

Wow, that UNCFaninKy guy is something else. He was spreading that false information here last week in the UNC ribeye thread, so I quoted where the NOA says advisors placed MBB players in classes. He proceeds to keep spouting that lie and accuse rival fans of spreading misinformation. And he's doing this across multiple schools' boards.

How does someone like that justify that in their mind?

Unfortunately, the more that I read, and the fact that Emmert remains in charge, you all will be disappointed that there will be no NCAA penalties for UNC. Forget it. It has been clearly stated that Emmert considers this an academic issue because the players for all the sports were eligible through the NCAA criteria, and the curriculum (or lack thereof) is an academic matter for the college and not the NCAA.
