I definitely do as long as I’m in reasonable health, there comes a point where living isn’t great. Too many problems. As long as I have autonomy ok but if all my family is gone and I’m alone in bad shape I’d be ready to go I think. I am happy for him as he still had his loving wife beside him for 73 years which is amazing.99 is incredible, I’m sure most people on this board including myself wish we could make it that far. RIP
Yup, the Original Big East was the best conference ever. I always looked forward to that Tournament because it was a battle. My cousin put it to me this way in a text this morning:
"I know it was to be expected, but raise one to Lou Carnasecca. One of a kind. Slowly the world will fully forget how great the Big East was which is a travesty."
As a true lover of college basketball, I couldn't have said it any better myself
Not at all, depends on quality not quantity.99 is incredible, I’m sure most people on this board including myself wish we could make it that far. RIP
Right, I’ve had the same thoughts. Living is less desirable when those around you start passing. It’s about the time you spend with them and how you can better impact their livesI definitely do as long as I’m in reasonable health, there comes a point where living isn’t great. Too many problems. Yeah. No blood no foul.He coached when the Big East was a tough, tough league
Final Four in 1985. Georgetown had their number down the stretch. They had 3 losses in their last 10 games....all to Georgetown and all by double digits.Looks like Lou once again fell short of the big one! Fell one birthday short! Did he ever get past the elite 8?
JK Looie. RIP- you were one of the best.
