Good start to build on but lots of sloppy play out there along with mental berries (way too many penalties). I think the promise is there but boy do we need to go to work before SEC play begins.
This. Just need to keep getting better. Just didn't see anything amazing today. Special teams looked 1000% better.
QB is a ? OLine is better, but needs to keep improving.
Ball State def. ajusted there. We had 5 tackles for loss in the first half. And then it's like our defense went *poof*
Wallace was a bright spot for sure.
I think most coaches are coming out of their openers knowing there are areas that need to be worked on. UK, like UT, has a new QB and a new OC. That's what these early games are for, to see where the chinks in the armor are.
Leary is rusty, was off a little bit, that'll come with time. Offense gave up one sack, but you can that was on Leary. Oline can use some work, but an improvement from last year.
Davis is gonna be good.
Defense is concerning on secondary/corners. Just hope that was some nerves.
Special teams is the winner of today's game. Nailed a couple 45's+ fg's, and hit down the middle on each. Barion with a kickoff td.
