You know, the guys with the April 15, 2015 sign up dates, along with several others who probably thought today was going to be trolling paradise. Instead we have a troll-free zone for about the first time since the end of the tournament. Quite enjoyable. I hope it lasts until Midnight Madness.

I think some are headed over to the 2nd Street Bridge...

Yeah, they are in hiding for today. Trolls, anti-Christ "UK fans" who only bitch about Coach Cal and the negatives 24/7, etc. Enjoy your day under a rock kids.

It still seems unbelievable. So many people were sure he was going to Oregon that I had given up hope and almost didn't watch the announcement.I sure learned my lesson about listening to so called experts.

Same here; although I didn't post on the subject, I too felt he was going to the Ducks. Just goes to show you can never be certain until the kid announces.

I would also like to add this. A lot of people were "fed up with Murray, and "over the Murray saga," and annoyed with "how long it was dragging on." Well of course these comments were coming out only when rumors of him going to Oregon were surfacing. The point I want to make is that if you look at it, he really didn't drag anything out. He was pretty much an unknown until the Nike Hoops Summit Game. From there, his whole landscape changed and he was now in demand and the idea of reclassifying became a strong possibility. The guy took some time to decide if not only he wanted to reclassify but could make it possible in the class room as well. In my opinion he took a very reasonable time to make that decision and get his high school education wrapped up. From there he took a little while longer to make his college decision.

Some fans on here (and many other UK internet sites) were acting like it was June, 2016 and Murray did not reclassify and was still unsure of where he was going to play college basketball in the upcoming 2016-2017 season.

like exhaling after first sitting down on vacation after a 15 hour trip. can we just ban the trolls and stay on vacation?

I'm just glad that I don't have to eat crow. I hear it is bitter.
I was worried about where he goes, but deep down I knew he was a CAT.

I myself was convinced he was going to Oregon. Haven't been this surprised since everyone was pointing to Georgetown for Nerlens before he chose UK.

How 'bout dem Hoosiers!

I don't ever try to troll, MdW (and so I stayed out of the Murray discussion), but I can't wait for the real season to begin. Who do ya like better, Yogi or Ulis? Oops, probably not the best thread for that, though I will take Yogi. :)

Does your Yogi play baseball?

Does your Yogi play baseball?

Yes. He is a distant relative of Yogi Berra. Fourth cousin 24 times removed, me thinks.

By the way; Murray changes your team. In my mind you guys go from not quite enough outside shooting threats for UK's liking... to plenty. With the college game living and dying from the three point line, that's a big deal.
