Right now the big picture suggests Pope struggles in some areas and is getting better in some areas:
Okay substitution patterns
Players not mentally engaged to start games
Players lacking will to put opponents away
Poor defense management
Doesn't mix things up offensively
Doesn't react to what the opponent is giving you
Is starting to get in the ear of officials
Does stand up for his guys
Pretty good at making adjustments at halftime
Propels his guys to winning games they are outmatched
Likes high scoring rock fights

We’ve won the war in that Cal is no longer our coach. But I’m not sure we have a coach who can win a title on the sideline now either.
