Taking time to look at the present recruiting versus past recruiting we should be overjoyed that we have coaches with the BALLS to go after the type of players that the big boys go after. In retrospect we should have seen some of this coming, going up against the big boys isn't easy. It didn't help that the Big 10 had the best year they've had in many years.

We all should be concerned but we also should trust that our coaches will continue to pursue they type players that will make us winners in the long run. I have a sneaky feeling that there may be a couple of surprises on signing day that will be positives. When we win on the field that will help. It didn't help that our schedule was back loaded last year. A couple of ball that should have been intercepted against UofL and a bad call at Florida and we finish 7-5 and go to a bowl game and things would have looked much different. We just have to show the SEC that we're going to be a player in the Sec East by winning our way.

The real positive, we still have all 3 stars or better in our remaining commits. I think we should all be overjoyed that is the facts and quite sounding like the sky is falling.

Those streaks of light I saw in the sky last night were not the sky falling? Dang it fooled me.

We still have solid class. We are filling some weak areas.I remember jrow posting how this year may not be as good as far as rankings go.They will target certain positions instead of targeting athletes..

If you start breaking down individuals its much much better than before stoops era..

OL. 2 Guys I really like,G.A.Adjei an L.Stenburg. Livingston I'm thinking will be more of a project but he has good size to develope into a sec tackle.
TE.Conrad really good TE.enough said.
WR.Greenwood.Very nice wr with NFL measurements. Still in with a few other solid prospects.
DL.3 Blue chip players,Daniels,Stowbridge, provitt. While they might not have gaude athleticism, they I believe are good blue collar players.
LB.2 Above average lb for UK standards.
DB.Walker is a very good db ala (Randolph,McLain) Beckham westry have good upside and we are still in with a few more good players!!

All in a a good class a fill a lot of needs/holes.So many times we focus on what we lost and don't appreciate what we have..
So far this staff has been able to swing a few on signing day which IMO would be a bonus..

Let's wait until signing day is over before we proclaim it was a failure or a great class. We could lose more commitments or gain some really nice players. I know our staff is doing everything they an to land good recruits because their job depends on it and most of em this is their first gig at this level with their job title.
