Why do we just not try? I can't tell you the amount of times we are standing and looking when we could be going for it or getting a body on someone to make sure they don't get it and your teammate does. So many times just putting a body on someone would keep them from getting these 50/50 balls. Now ones about to lose us the game. Just a complete fail on that play. We just have so many soft guys it's turned us into a soft team but they have the choice to not play that way. We've seen them play tough they can do it.
I never thought a Mark Pope team would struggle with effort and 50/50 balls. Some of these dudes need to be locked in a bathroom stall. Sure got Harrellson's attention. This bunch has some serious soul searching to do. They are incredibly soft, other than when they decide to play lay defense for 6-8 minutes a game which makes it all that much more frustrating bc it proves they CAN do it. They guarded the ball screen for a few minutes then let it tear them to pieces again. So tired of it.
