and getting minutes.

Played 2 mins. in the loss to OSU
Didn't play in the LSU loss
Didn't play in the Auburn loss.
When he replaces an injured Briscoe in the UL game, he played 26 minutes, had 13 points and we won by 2. Imo we wouldn't have won if Briscoe was healthy.

I think he's an experienced X factor player that this team with very little margin for error needs.

We know he can play solid D. If he can knock down some shots like he did in the Louisville game he can really give this team a much needed shot in the arm. Gotta get him back in game shape. The longer he misses the harder it is gonna be for him to grab significant minutes IMO.

I like Hawkins, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Yes, his Louisville game was great, but I'm not sure he's going to be able to replicate that performance consistently. If he can, I'll gladly welcome him back on the floor for tons of minutes!

I agree Smashcat, as a Junior now Hawk provides that experience and leadership. He's been in huge games and is an excellent defender, now he is also a pretty decent shooter.

We definitely need him back ASAP, the kid gives 100% and that's all you can ask for.
