Did this yesterday but put it in the wrong dang place. Interesting info though.

UCONN- 6 of their top 8 players have played in at least 21 of 22.
UNC- 9 of their top 10 players have played in at least 21 of 22.
Houston- 9 of their top 10 players have played in at least 20 of 22
Tennessee- 7 of their top 8 players have played in all 21 games.
Kansas- 9 of their top 10 players have played in at least 22 of 23 games.
Purdue- 8 of their top 10 players have played in all 23 games.
Arizona- 8 of their top 10 players have played in all 22 games.

UK- Our top 11 players( including Burks)
Only 3 have played in all 21 games.
Dilly and Edwards have played in 20.
Wagner in 18.
Of the next 5, none have played in more than 15.

We can debate forever how legit some of these injuries have been, but it sure makes you wonder what our record would be like today if we had 11 players play in 21 games.

This crap has been going for several years and I don't believe most of these players are unable to play. I think it is part of Cal's strategy for limiting his player rotation. As soon as DJ and Mitchell return, I wouldn't be surprised if someone else is reported as ill or injured for upcoming games.

Maybe it’s an embarrassment of riches? I don’t know if any other highly ranked team that has 5 star players on the bench. It seems with KU and UNC that the roles are more clearly defined
