How is he doing so far? I think I heard that he was something like 2-14 in a game recently and one of them was an alley-oop dunk.

I bet this is the Lakers way of avoiding embarrassment. If Fox schooled him again there would be so much backlash over the Lakers not taking Fox. Either that or daddy Ball is telling him to fake it. Can't have his rookie of the year that is supposed to take them back to the promise land getting shown up a third time. Might hurt the BBB's image even more.
I could envision a play where Fox would steal the ball from Lonzo and is streaking down the sidelines going in for a dunk and Lavar is so frustrated he comes out of the stands and tackles Fox to keep him from scoring much like what Woody Hays did.
May not be that at all but your argument is pretty logical and I wouldn't be surprised that you are at least partially correct.
Can't wait for their October 8 pre-season game. If Lonzo no-Balls opts out of that game for phantom reasons as well, he is avoiding the matchup.

If the Lakers did that on purpose then no wonder they're a crap organization the last few years. Lets say Fox really outplays him again..... yeah it takes a temporary hit to Ball's rep but you use it as motivation to make Ball work harder . Use it to push the kid. Hiding him does him nor the organization any favors.
Exactly, if he can't out play a rookie drafted after him in an exhibition, how's he gonna play against the league's elites in real games?
My friend refers to that family as "Ball Cancer" which I think seems to describe it pretty well. and you never ever want Ball Cancer.
