Over the years, we have seen teams stomp on logos and plant flags on logos when they, the visitors, get a big win on a rival’s field. To be sure, it is disrespectful, whether before a game or after.

But, should players and fans take so much offense that they want to fight over a logo?

The team just beat you on your field. They want to celebrate. They go and plant a flag or stomp on your logo. I believe it is poor sportsmanship, but is it worthy of the big mid field post game kerfuffle?

This all seems very silly to me. Just make sure you beat them next time.

I guess most people disagree with me. But, it all seems very silly to me.

If you don't like your rival planting their flag on your field, then win the effing game.

It would not shock me in the least that the NCAA steps in and tries to put fines or suspensions in place to keep these post game skirmishes from happening.

The Big 10 fined both teams. Should players be suspended for the next game?

I actually think it's goofy and disrespectful to do. They wouldn't want osu doing that on their logo either. Same with any of these other teams this weekend.

Winning with class goes a long way.

I think OSU, should they beat Michigan again at the Big House, should do just that.

Although I lived in Columbus for two years, I really have no dog in this fight. I was raised to hate all things Big-10.

That being said, for a previous game's half-time show, THE OSU band formed a large bear on the field symbolically squatting and pooping on a Michigan flag two weeks ago. I am all for college students having fun and pulling pranks, but OSU lost any high ground they might claim re: the UM flag planting with their bear crapping on their rival's flag back in mid November.

In the end...win your home games and you don't run the risk of rivals doing logo antics at midfield. Presently, we have much bigger problems with UK FB.

U of L could have just planted on in our end zone on the way off the field. We would still be trying to figure out how to get to it.

And OSU wonders why most everyone hates them, they never do any wrong. Them and UNCheat just don't get in any major trouble. Dan Patrick said on his program today, OSU spent 20 million on NIL last year, WOW!!!!

I don’t follow the marching band wars. Did not know that.

When a WR catches a 6 yd pass on 3rd and 9, pops up talking smack like he just went up between 2 defenders and took it to the house. All this while his punting team is coming on the field, what can we expect. I read OSU done the same thing at Mich when they won there, it's just been so long no remembers it

Dabo got and gave his big speech against it, while conveniently forgetting his choir boys stabbed the chicken in Columbia last year.

Big10 fined Mich and OSU 100k each for their little show, that will show them, the cost of a 2* interior OL.

I bet a post season ban if you attempt to vandalize the field coaches and administrators would be standing on it.
