I watched an episode of locked in bulldogs yesterday they talked about Georgia’s biggest threats in the SEC. They said the only threats were Alabama and UK. Had a lot of praise for coach Stoops and the Wildcats. They start talking about UK about the 17 minute mark.

Nice to know we get some respect but IMO the East is going to be stronger from 2-6 this year so I wouldn't count out a serious challenge for some of the other teams.

I want to think UGA will be pretty good this fall, offensively we return 3 starters and a 4th who was injured in the opener, 3 backs who played alot 5 of top 6 WR/TE, Blaylock is suppose to be back but he has missed 2 seasons, Arik Gilbert is trying to get to 235 to play WR and good or bad Bennett is back at QB. Offense should be better, defense will undoubtedly take a step back in the front 7, secondary will 3 of 5 who started the NC game.

But everyone in the East will be better, Carolina has really hit the portal hard, UF quit on Mullen last year, UT will likely have the most explosive offense, UK returns maybe the conferences best back. UK and UGA were both hit pretty hard with coaches moving on. I think everyone feels they have a legit shot at playing in Atlanta, except Vandy and probably Missouri. And they probably do, top 5 teams have to bring their A game every Sat.

Hell yeah. You don’t happen to have a clip of that do you?

Auburn, Florida and Tennessee, as they listed them.

“For the next 5 years, give me Kentucky as the biggest threat in the East.”
Auburn is probably not going to but Florida recovered well and Tennessee had better classes on two services and UK had better ones on the other two. Should put the cart before the horse.

Well good or bad, Bennett lead you all to a National Championship, so if he's "bad" then I would hate to see what a good version of him could do.

I'm actually glad we get UF in the second game. Hopefully they'll still be in their learning curve with the new system and we will catch them early. I'm less worried about USC since we get them at home. I hope UT doesn't find a defense and we learn how to stop them. that's one I'm not looking forward to on the road.

Really hope that Nov. 19th tilt at Kroger Field against UGA is for all the marbles in the East.

Napier will recruit well at UF, he hired the DB coach from LSU who is an elite recruiter and DB coach, Napier himself was an elite recruiter at Bama, a couple of his other hires are good recruiters too. Everyone needs a strong FSU and Miami to eat up the Florida kids. UT has recruited pretty well on the offensive side of the ball, but not so well on the defensive side. They are in the

Bennett isn't bad, but he is a gunslinger and a little risky at times. But you are correct, and looked more like the Heisman winner the actual winner did that game. Kirby just can't find it in himself to turn the offense loose. But after Bama recovered the fumble and went ahead, he did and Bennett looked great. He's small and doesn't have the biggest arm, but he is the only QB in town with winning a NC on his resume.

I hope I am not drinking too much Kool aide and we are still in the hunt in Nov. I really like our replacement for Lanning, recruits seem to really like him, same with the DB coach. I am not overly concerned losing the DC, I Schumann was the co DC and coached our ILB, Muschamp will assume a CO DC title and coach S this season, which is pretty much what he did last year.

But I am not thrilled with our OL hire, feel it's the worst hire Kirby has made at UGA. I was hoping for a young guy looking to build a resume and defending NC with 4 starters returning, if you count the one injured in the opener. But instead hire an old retread in the twilight of his career.

Depending on where you look, they did pretty well. Two of the better pass rushers right outside the elite list of pass rushers in Joseph’s and Pearce. You could say similar about UKs class.

I think everyone is excited about their 22 class. I may be prejudice but I think our DL coach is the best in the country. Sure he had some talent, but they lived up or exceded expectations. Jalen Carter could have been the best DL we had, a couple of others pushed for snaps. Our LB Corp will take a step back, but I think the DL will hold serve and the secondary will be better. I like our chances in the East today, but that can change after spring practice and who hits the portal. I really believe Brock Bowers, #19, is the biggest offensive weapon in the East. Too big for a DB, too fast for a LB and he has the "it" factor.. he could easily be our first 1000 yard receiver in 20 years. I think UK, UF, UT and UGA could beat each other any given week. I have no idea who gets hot at a good time. But I do think UGA is better offensively in 22, but takes a step back defensively. With the target we will have on our back no idea how we end up. But Uk makes me nervous because the play hard consistently. UT can score quick on alignment mistakes, but UF not so much.

UKs gotta get to where they can beat offenses that in their prime. Gotta start beating good teams to take that step. Will they?
