I am in Switzerland with family over the holiday. Just realized that I will not be able to watch the game online with YouTube TV, because you must be in the US to use youtube TV. I do not know how to use a VPN, but that seems to be the only option to make it work. Any other suggestions to make this work? Thanks in advance. GO BIG BLUE

I don't have any tips but it would be cool if you found a UK bar in Switzerland. LOL....wouldn't surprise me.

Other than illegal streams which have been hard to find this year for CBB, this Youtube channel uploads all games to after the games are over. You could enjoy your Saturday night in Switzerland and watch the game on Sunday. If you need a VPN just download NordVPN and set your location to the US.

VPN's are very simple. YTTV works hard to see VPN's and block usage. Usually not my favorite but in this case NordVPN is probably your best choice.

When using a vpn all you to do is click on a country/city you want YTTV to think you're in. Pretty simple. I'd also suggest clearing your cache and cookies first.

It should work then. Don't let VPN's scare you off. They are safe and simple to use.

@St.PatterSoN-54- when I lived in Ukraine my formula was use a VPN app on my phone and choose the VPN server in the States or in DC, depending on how specific it let me choose. (Just search for VPN in the app store.)

I started out with ExpressVPN. But then that started to suck so I went to StrongVPN. But then that started to suck so I went to NordVPN.

I used Sling Orange to actually watch the games once the VPN was up. As @BigBlueFanGA said I can vouch VPN's aren't hard to use at least through a phone, where they make everything as idiotproof as possible.

That works if you're just watching Sling on your phone but most of the time if it was a game of any size I would watch through my laptop. In that case my setup was get the VPN running on my phone, then set up my phone as a hotspot and connect my laptop to the internet through my phone. It worked well because highspeed mobile data was close to free in Ukraine. I payed something like 15 bucks a month for unlimited data, then another 5 bucks a month for unlimited hotspot. I think it should be roughly comparable in the nordic countries. Then I ran Sling on my laptop for the bigger screen.

I did that because in that era (2020–2022) a lot of the location-sniffing software was able to bust you if you just ran a VPN from your laptop. But if you hotspotted your laptop through a phone that was running VPN through a US-based server, those sniffers couldn't smell a thing. Good luck Bro.
