I still remember listening Cawood on my transistor radio as a kid. Had nerf hoop on my bedroom door acting out every UK play. There will be another like him.

More than likely it was Isaiah Thomas who was not in the game when it ended. They were both friends and competitors from the high school summer circuit in the late 70's. Both were high school AA's from the great class of 1979 and played against each other in all but two all star games. The Derby Classic was played twice that year. Once in Freedom Hall where it always ways, and a second time in Rupp Arena. KY-IN All-stars vs. the USA All stars.
