Likely No Jaxson Robinson against UT

He came back in against USCjr, up 20, and immediately got hit on the wrist going for a rebound. He then didn't return. It made no sense to bring him back.

The fact that Pope played Robinson against SCAR was a stupid decision. Downright idiotic.

The fact that Pope put Robinson back in late in the second half when UK was up by 20, when he had already been grimacing and holding his wrist for most of the second half (and while he was on the bench as well) is a fireable offense, in my opinion. Absolutely moronic.
Stupidity.

Gonna be a tough game. UT is hungry for that double bye. We should be too. Best be ready for a war tomorrow night.

We've swept UT ONCE in the past decade or so (we beat them twice in 2023 strangely enough). The last time before that was 2012. Tired of splitting with them so much. Need to add another sweep to it.
We didn't sweep them in 2015?
Just looked, nope, we only played them once, @ TBA. That's strange, I thought we always played them twice back then.

That would be the surefire way to lose.

Better Jax than Butler as Brea takes his spot and Noah takes Breas. .
Why? They don’t have the best offensive weapon. The game is gonna be played at Tennessees pace, so if it’s lower scoring Kentucky might actions be able to win that way.

My biggest concern w/o Jax is more of the backup PG mins than the shooting/scoring. I think Brea has the ability to pick up the scoring loss. Where I think the drop off really occurs is when Butler has to go out, instead of Jax sliding over to PG it's probably going to be Perry. That's a HUGE issue, especially against a defense like UT. I'm not sure OO has it in him to do it. Maybe you turn back to Amari to bring it up, although the Vols will be better prepared for that. You're options are basically a lineup of Perry running the point or a lineup of something like OO/KB/AA/TN/AW with Williams bringing the ball up a lot. I tend to lean toward the lineup that doesn't include Perry, but sheesh...there's not one "decent" on an island handler in the lineup w/o Perry.

UT had 3 guys on the injury report when Florida came to town, but instead of crying about it, they beat them by 20. GO BLUE. We've already beaten them once, and we were MORE short handed than tonight and on the road !!

UT vs, FLA
Tennessee sophomore forward J.P. Estrella is listed as out. Estrella will miss the remainder of the season due to a foot injury. Zakai Zeigler (questionable) and Igor Milicic Jr. (probable) are also listed on the availability report for Tennessee.

I wish whoever Zeigler guards, would post him up 20 times- he gives up 5-6" on whoever he guards in our starting lineup- try to get him in foul trouble

Brea goes off
Oweh dunks all over everyone
Amari goes for a double double
Butler runs the team
Carr plays like early season Carr

This is what I’m hoping for
Let's hope you are correct. UT shot a miserable 24% from 3 against us in Knoxville. If they shoot their average tonight from 3 we will need all these listed above in spades. We certainly want them to shoot less than 45 threes.
Gonna be a good test for us. I think we can get it done!

This shit is getting stupid. So sick of injury after injury after injury. It’s been like three decades of bad luck here. Why? Who made the original deal with the devil?
Maye a hard look at strength & conditioning. This area certainly make a HUGE difference in football player's health. Just a thought. Take a look at other schools S & C programs and compare. I'm sure every school in the SEC, including the Hogs, would open their doors to their S & C program.
