Quickley was almost as good as Reeves. Maxey had it too.Him and D. Lamb are the best I’ve ever seen at UK at it.
I think you're right. He's shown it a little. I think this is the first time he's ever felt 'small' on the court. So, I think the floater will come in time as he gets more comfortable with the size and speed of college. It only took Reeves four years to perfect. Sheppard has that shot, but has not polished it yet. Reed has everything needed to win. I’m afraid we won’t see him after this year. NBA scouts/owners are salivating at the possibility of drafting him. (No source, just my thoughts after reading and listening to others).
Them 4 were all great at it for sure. Maxey has a killer floater, he still uses it in the NBA.Quickley was almost as good as Reeves. Maxey had it too.
The Goose was pretty good at that. The floaters are great but… I’m old school and remember when players could drive hard (as if to take it all the way) stop on a dime and pull straight up for an easy 10 footer.
Look up MJ if you don’t know what I mean. He perfected it, but there’s been plenty that were good at it.
