I still think its a strong possibility. The NFL is cool and all but UK has shown that they will pony up some money recently. Why not come back and play in the SEC at a school where you will be a God if it all goes well. Lexington is a great place to live and raise a family as well. I grew up in Owenton which isnt too far away from Lexington and had a great childhood. Maybe he doesnt think the same way , but I still see him making it back to Lexington, it just may take longer than we would like with the NFL still going strong, but I see it happening before Spring for us.

I'm concerned he is using this to get a raise from the Rams to be honest but I guess we will see.

Well one of the biggest reasons some coaches prefer the NFL is the don't care for recruiting. And it's worse than ever now. You can sign a kid, spend 2 years developing him and someone calls his uncle and says we will give him x amount to transfer to a particular school. At least in the NFL you have a contract with specific terms.

That can't be stated enough, things are much different now than even 6 months ago.

You fix that by the schools putting these kids on actual payroll and making them sign a contract. Easy peasy.
