He is visible proof that we should never be afraid of the year after Calipari finally leaves. A competent coach can immediately build a competitive roster with the transfer portal. Brooks is going to crush it here.

Brooks bringing in some experienced talent as well as new recruits. Unbelievable that the women’s team csn be upgraded so quickly. I wish Maddie Scherr would come back also, but would be challenged for a starting role though.
Women's team may end up being better than the men's next year.

With the Va Tech transfers and recruit flips I'll guess the Va Tech athletic administration is very unhappy with the situation and coach Brooks.

And the new men's coach probably won't bring an all American with him from his old school. Because most of those guys go pro in men's basketball. I agree completely with everyone the right coach can turn it around in year 1 though.

Great for the women’s program to breath new life into it. The Men’s program desperately needs it also and to get away from the NBA farm team AAU mentality.
Found this on KSR .... Don’t be surprised if another one of Virginia Tech’s current 2024 commits, 6-foot-7 Portugal native Clara Silva, joins Blue in the very near future, either.
Says a lot about Brooks that these players are willing to follow him. That's a great sign.

I like what Brooks said about players playing for the name on the front of the jersey.
That said it looks like some of his players were playing for him and not Va Tech

I always felt like UK was a sleeping giant for WBB, for obvious reasons. Just need the right coach.
I used to play in high school and college many years ago and I never did really like to watch women's basketball. I never thought I would really get excited about it, but I'm kinda looking forward to watching UK's women play. Go Lady Cats!!!
