He's not going to be ready to play next year. He needs to gain about 60 lbs before he ever gets on the field at OT. I would much rather he be here now so we can start feeding this boy and have him ready in two or three years. Now he may not be able to gain the weight necessary for OT and we may have to use him at DE.

At the level they're recruiting for the OLine, if he doesn't make it this semester I doubt he'll ever be at UK.

Talent is talent. Even if we recruit at a high level, linemen with his ability are not common. He's very well suited for OT, and that is arguably the most important position on the line in a pass-happy offense.

Hopefully he will be here. The kid wasn't highly rated but looked like a stud. OL is a need with this next class. We have a great group coming in, just wish they were already here.

He has something very few UK OL in the past 3 decades have had and that's the ability to run. Could be his RS soph year before he could see much PT but he needs to get on campus and start his conditioning process. Would be another hit to an already thin area if he doesn't make it. And don't forget he's from Metro DC, an area UK is trying to establish recruiting contacts.

It's my understanding that classes started today at UK. While I believe it's still theoretically possible to enroll after the first day, it doesn't look good at all for Livingston to be on the team this fall.

I guess the circumstances of his ineligibility will determine what happens next - JUCO, grayshirt, etc.
