Levis says CRod is on a “Mission”!!!

True, but I hope he goes untouched. :)
I think alot on this board are underestimating CRod’s return and the impact he will have on UKs Offense.
He is 6th all time at UK in rushing yards and hasent played a snap yet this season. He still has an outside shot at breaking Snell’s all time rushing record at UK, especially if UK can win the East and get into the SEC Champ game and FF and National Champ. games.
Plus he has fresh legs. Ole Miss is in trouble Sat.

Again, he’s a difference maker. He’s going to elevate everyone including the line. I get some don’t understand this.

Tell me you’ve never experienced football as a player without telling me you’ve never played.

I'm all Daffy Duck over here.
Im probably as excited about the game Saturday as I have ever been about a UK football game. Its not just 7 v 14 which higher rankings for both teams hasn't happened since 1951 ( ummm thats 71 yrs ago) when UK was 6 and Texas was 11 but its the prospect of winning and having an op. to crack the top 5 over the next few weeks for the first time in 58 yrs circa 1964!
And its the potential to win the East, to go to the FF and win it all!!!!

Stoops said they have been saving a lot for us. Bet they unleash a passing frenzy. Need heavy pressure on their cocky QB.
Yeah because they have played 4 straight cup cakes to start their season, 3 in Oxford.
That doesn't bode well for them Sat. w/#7 roaring in with a new weapon. At least we played at then #12 Florida and won by 2 scores. We are much more battle tested than them. It also sounds like they have a few injuries as well. UK by 4.

Just to be devil's advocate.... doesn't that also allow Kiffin, an excellent offensive coach, to hold things back until this game. I'm cautiously optimistic for this one.

It does, sure, thats the point. But, if they havent been running stuff in game action for over a month, Id say there is a pretty good chance of them screwing up v our stout D.

I hope y'all are right about this, I really do...I'm having a hard time buying in to it. Would make me the happiest dude on the board if I'm wrong.

Our run game has been pathetic, worst in the conference if I'm not mistaken. I'm worried about our O-line and I'm worried about Yenzer...I hope he's the guy.

We’ll be fine. Both Ole Miss and Tennessee don’t have defensive lines that can bully you. I find it odd everyone is freaking out about our Oline but they don’t seem to have that same opinion about Tennessee’s terrible defense.

Well yes our running game has suffered but we havent had our All SEC RB for the 1st 4 games. That is about to change!

No one is paying attention to the issues with other teams. It’s typical. Bet there is a post on Ole Miss board right now discussing issues with something.

Ole Miss has been getting ready for us. Fine.

Maybe just maybe our play has looked a little rough or unfocused the last 2 games because the staff has been prepping and planning for Ole Miss, and not Youngstown or N Ill.
Could be and CRod is going to be a major upgrade at RB. We are 4-0 without him; that should tell you something.

Well, I'm expecting a close game. Minimize TOs and put pressure on their QB and we have an excellent chance to win. Unfortunately, I expect we'll be down a TD quickly as it seems the defense allows a TD very early on almost every game. I'd love to have an early pick-6 to shut up the crowd and get the defense motivated to stay sharp.

CRod will make a difference. We still have to block for him, though. Having him in the backfield should make PA passes even more effective. Would love to see WL spread the ball around 8+ receivers and make Ole Miss play the whole field. We've got the weapons - just have to use them correctly and not make ridiculous mistakes (dropping wide open passes, fumbling, blowing assignments, etc.).

I concur. Based on performance thus far, I just don’t think it will be close unless they can pull a rabbit out of the hat. And I hope with everything in me they do.

Yeah because Ole Miss has beat great Georgia Tech, Mighty Troy, the juggernaut that is Tulsa and formidable Central Arkansas!
UKs schedule has been tons tougher than those 4!
Big mistake for Ole Miss to fill up on all those cupcakes before #7 comes calling with our All-SEC RB in tow as well.

He was also running behind historically great UK olines, which is not something we have this year. I appreciate the optimism but until I see it I'm not confident. We've looked down right mediocre for large chunks of games this season. We might lose to NIU if their coach didn't constantly send house blitzes on 3rd down.

I think UK wins this Sat, while you are correct about the DL of OM and the Vols not having elite DL by SEC standards. They would be elite by MAC standards.

Let's see what the OL looks like with CRod running the ball. Was it the OL not doing the job, or were the backup RBs not the caliber of CRod. Guess we'll see on Saturday.
