Very excited tonight as everyone should be. That kid can fly and with the addition of Knox, cal only missed getting Bamba to make the class ridiculous.

Diallo wants to be a Wildcat next year. That is good enough for me and I hope he has a year for the ages and helps us win #9. He is a vital part of the team and true UK fans will support him 10000%. The past is now the past, let's look forward and dream of what may come.
its great to see a kid take so much pride in his school that he wants to come back to go for a title. Its also refreshing to know that to some money isnt everything.

You sure can have too few. Thus the effectiveness of a zone defense in basketball and loading the box on a football team that can only run the ball.

I agree with the OP's message, and was not criticizing him at all, sorry if it seemed that way.
Just in general some people act like Diallo is making amends for what he just did. And that it was ok for the people on here to act the way they did, and they can forgive him becuase he is trying to make amends.
That frustrates me because it excuses the horrible attitude some of the people on here displayed as Diallo did what was best for him and his family

Let's move on. This saga has come to an end. Diallo is now a wildcat. Now we get to see what he can do on the basketball floor wearing the blue and white.
In my opinion he only wanted UNC when it started looking like Diallo was going to return.

I'm glad to see he's coming back. I was one that was critical of the situation because I believe he could've helped the team last year and chose not to. Only Diallo knows the real reason, but it sounds like from his comments that he understands that as well and is excited to focus on what is hopefully a great year for him at UK. I think that was also a great comment he made about paying back the university for not having played last semester whether it was necessary or not, doesn't matter. It was a nice touch. Goes to show not only the talent, but the character that he has. HE'S ready to move forward and we all should be too. Going to be an exciting season!

I can see him exploring his options (like anyone in a free society should) and I can see a side that would be upset for feeling he "used" the university, but good lord, those threads showed the whiniest, on both sides, in our fan base
I'm not getting it through the search function either, but I know he posted last night, unless someone quoted him and I am thinking that was him posting.
But nevertheless, even if he didn't, that's one guy out of the, apparently, huge group of "idiots" that are being called out for not showing up to eat their crow.
