Drew wouldn’t even be considered if Mitch wasn’t buddies with him. If Hurley and others have declined then that’s fine but if there weren’t at least contacted then that’s when I have a problem.

Drew had 1 amazing year and 21 where he lost 14 games and lost in the first or second round. If it's him that's soul crushing, beg cal back
Exactly we are better off with Cal if Drew is our coach. I won’t buy into the Drew hype because there isn’t any.
He is the 2nd or 3rd most successful college basketball coach over the past 5 years.

Regardles of what someone SAYS to the media, you still contact them. People are always going to protect their current bread and butter until something else solid comes along.

How do you know that they weren’t called or aren’t even still in the mix? This is one guy reporting it, not exactly written in stone yet.
I’m not a huge Drew fan but the people bashing him and downplaying him winning a title are ridiculous. If it’s no big deal and so easy to do why are there only 7 coaches who have ever won a title?

I’m going to support whoever we hire and even if it’s someone I didn’t want I am willing to give them a chance.
A lot of people saying a lot of things and the fact remains that we don’t know what’s happening or what’s true and silly speculation is running rampant here.
