Which is all he was really supposed to be good at. He gets 1 here or there by pure chance because he's always put into positions where he needs to block them but for a kid with a wing span and vertical like that it's baffling how easily he gets finished on. He almost brings absolutely nothing to the table.

He needs to ride the pine and let Skal get some experience. Lee needs to be the Freshman Lee that played in the Michigan game. Come off the bench and play sparingly and bring energy. He doesn't deserve starter's minutes.

Mean Michigan? Haha

Lee doesn't like to stick his nose in the middle of the lane for rebounds either. Zero offensive skill unless he grabs a lob for a dunk.. Skal needs to be playing more and Lee sitting.

I don't think Skal or Lee know how to play basketball. They absolutely get murdered under the basket. I'd throw humphries in there and see what he can do; couldn't get any worse.

Stands straight up and throws his arms down on opposing player. Automatic foul. Lee is a liability at this point. Why not play Humphries? At this point he can play as well as Skal and Marcus.

I think Lee is the most overrated player in Cal's tenure and one of the most I can ever remember. He's 20 games into his Junior season and he absolutely sucks - can't even block out guards or hold on to the ball. I don't care if he leaves or not - find someone else.

Lee reminds me of that guy at the park that's athletic but has never played basketball more then a couple times in his life.

Marcus "Mittens" Lee

Lee needs to be outta the rotation. Can't score, rebound or block shots anymore. Humphries showed more against Dook than Lee has lately.

He doesn't block shots for one reason... He hasn't been taught to jump last. You can't over react to every drive and start jumping when you see them jump. thats why he fouls over and over. He the offensive player just hesitates in the air or double clutches and he reacts by bringing his hand down to the ball.

The number one technique by every great shot blocker is to let the defense commit to their shot first then jump a half beat later. The shooter has to hesitate at the top for a beat to release anyway AND you have more time while the ball is in the air as well to block the shot. It's not natural so you have to work on it and from what I see they don't do that.
