IU fan coming in peace (was at IU during the glory days and yes, I realize we have sucked for decades). Was very impressed with what Pope did in year 1.
Agree with you about MM. Literally no IU fan wanted him back. Low motor, disinterested defender, terrible handle in the open court (when he dribbled it was 50/50 he would lose the ball), played extremely “stiff” almost as though he is 60 years old (descriptions of him as athletic are laughable) and just really unmotivated. The poster that said MM “flat tires” the offense nailed it.
I’m blown away that he thinks the NBA might be an option this year.
He is a good three point shooter with a picture perfect stroke but you will do better.
