As a courtesy, would you mind to change the thread title to just "Landon Young" or "Landon Young extension." The initial implication when you see the thread title makes it feel like something bad may have happened to Landon's dad or that it's about his dad, when it's really about Landon himself.
Well, his Dad did post the news. Whatever feelings may've been felt is irrelevant. The thread title literally flowed right into the post. Nothing wrong there.
No, there's nothing wrong. People reading may want to read a thread about Landon Young instead of Landon Young's dad though. If ESPN breaks a news story, then the thread title isn't typically "ESPN"; it's about the subject of the news story. Regardless, I'm glad that Mr. Young is doing well and that he is proud regarding the news about his son.
Mr. Young's fine. Landon did sign a one year deal. Got a new head coach this year but getting an old line coach back. Landon is talented and versatile which makes him valuable. Played 3 or 4 different spots last year for the Saints.
Landon was one of many, many good guys connected with Kentucky football. He’s made some decent pocket, the upcoming season being his 6th in the NFL, IIRC.
His dad is, too. Only talked to him briefly a few times, but see him around Lexington fairly regularly for how little time I spend there. Wish nothing but the best and then some for that whole family.
I thought he was drafted in 2000.
He was out for the 2018/19 season that culminated in the Citrus Bowl/Penn State game, then I thought he came back for his senior season in 19/20.
