My wife lived up there with her ex back during the 80s oil boom and bust. She knows quite a bit about equipment and conditions in the area.

Also iirc monty lives in dallas. Or maybe i just deduced that from it being a metro about 3-4 hours away from Midland. Not sure they ever said specifically.

Monty lives in Ft. Worth. They showed TCU's stadium and he said his daughter stayed home to go to TCU.

Also, I learned that Midland is named that because it's halfway between DFW and El Paso.
