I wasn't predicting it. I said the only that could ruin things.....Nobody was expecting Lewis to de-commit. Strange things happen though. Why would he leave UK?

Jared Prickett finished his career with 998 points. Poor guy, all those missed gimmes.Jared Prickett says, "Hold my beer".
Sounds like Wilkerson might've just left IU without committing. Y'all, we might get another boom tomorrow.
I really liked Jared though. Not the most talented guy ever but he always played hard.Jared Prickett finished his career with 998 points. Poor guy, all those missed gimmes.

Remember when Pitino forecasted him to potentially be a young Larry Bird if he developed his shot (which never happened)? Yep. Pitino was saying outlandish things even back then.I really liked Jared though. Not the most talented guy ever but he always played hard.
Down to earth guy too. The anti-travis ford/steve masieloI really liked Jared though. Not the most talented guy ever but he always played hard.
IMO it's going to be one hell of a bump in talent from this upcoming season compared to last season's. We're going to see multiple alpha's, something that last year's team desperately needed and only saw toward the end with Oweh and Williams. Will the guys you mentioned be able to handle the personalities / talent coming in? Or will this be a situation where Pope sets things up with a "these guys have experience in my system, lean on them"?LW joins this group and we could be one of the best if not the best roster in College Basketball for 2025-26. Does not mean automatically we win it all. The real work would start as soon as all 13 or 14 guys get on campus. Pope will have to rely on Oweh, Garrison, Noah, Perry and Chandler to start team building. I mean you would have 8 or 9 new guys to get to know, love and get ready to battle. We would know a ton by the time the summer workouts start. This could be one heck of a team.
He’s ours to lose, it seems.
I feel like Butler was an alpha, but playing with one arm was a lot to overcome.IMO it's going to be one hell of a bump in talent from this upcoming season compared to last season's. These random insiders gotta stop posting clickbait stuff
There are no "Superstars" on sh*tty teams.
And at IU, I guarantee he is no better than second option. The coach’s kid is going to get his first. There are no "Superstars" on sh*tty teams.

Damn!
Wow. Keith Bogans. Thanks for bringing him up. I always thought he was a warrior. Played hard and under control. Under rated to be sure. Wonder what he’s up to now? What team were you watching, not UK? Well for one, he drove to the basket more than anyone at UK in a long time. Maybe since Andrew or even further back to Bogans. So naturally more drives means both more misses and makes. And for two, most of his misses is because the refs were allowing him to get hammered at the basket much more than they let other players do. It was beyond "playing through contact".
Secondly, Edwards missed a whole lot more layups (& dunks) than anyone I've ever seen. To me Edwards is the worst finisher at UK I've seen in the 40+ years I've been watching. But then again it's hard to finish when you can't jump (I should know).
....if our school didn't suck worse than any university in the nation at retiring jerseys.Wow. Keith Bogans.
He could almost be a “in the rafters” guy couldn’t he?
He was the alpha, he led us even with one arm.Love Butler when he was 100% healthy. He was a Dog and Alpha fo sho!
Happy Birthday buddy… Now wrap it up Pope! 😂It’s my birthday Mark Pope, I’m gonna need you to wrap this one up as my gift today! Let’s go!
Thank ya so much!Happy Birthday buddy… Now wrap it up Pope! 😂
As far as Oweh, his body of work speaks for itself at UK. No matter who, they will come in and respect what he did for UK last year. Very consistent, gave 100% most of the time. The rest will be a little different story but guys in any sport (smart guys that is) always learn from the players in the system. They want that leg up when the action starts to happen. If they start out having to learn Pope then they have wasted their summer.IMO it's going to be one hell of a bump in talent from this upcoming season compared to last season's. That statement to me is more scared than it is anything. They will try to force a commitment. Do not want him to get to UK or Auburn. UK and Auburn are going to sell the get to the final 4, not come in and get your 22 a night guy. They will show any guy on either team will be able to get 20 a game, any playmaker type players. They will sell come be part of a championship drive. IU I do not think can sell that same thing.Damn!
@xpjj9ybkjf_e thinks he's theirs to lose!
Did you hear me?!
