73-152. That's crazy.

Hate to agree with Williams, but with Diallo, they just might be the favorite. Them and MSU.

UNC and Kansas both returned a ton of talent, multi-year guys. I'm not sure they're supposed to be playing anywhere less than great basketball at this point in the season.

Kentucky will be a completely different team than they are now come late January. I think they'll play well that game as they'll play lose and I think Murray, Briscoe and Ulis step up for the big games.

True, but even for a veteran team, that's impressive shooting from 3.

We will be in deep shiz in Lawerance.

And I'm cool with that. I think the key is just mentally preparing for a two title cap on the Calipari Era. It's what I foresaw when he came here, and it's reasonable given the amount of one year guys he has and all the turnover every season. The second title will come. I think our fans just need to realize it might not be this season, which is fine.

So on a related note, if this group gets beat at Kansas, on their floor, by a veteran team that's ranked in the top 3, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

I would love to see Alex request and get a medical redshirt for last season and come back for a 5th year. With him, Lee and Matthews returning to go with that class, I think we have a better shot next year. I know this is a down season overall, but there are 3 or 4 teams that are markedly better than us right now, and may still be by season's end. But, who knows, if Skal turns it around and Wynyard is able to give us some depth in the frontcourt, we just might make a run too. Just have to avoid a repeat of the 2010 WVU type game.

That is impressive. Can only go down from there though. That's all I got.

I, too, am counting on a loss bit hoping for a win at KU. They'd probably be favored by 7+ points right now but the game is over a month and a half away.

Im starting to feel good about this team again after what Alex did tonight.
Best all around gm of his career.
Ulis did his thing.
We just had too many turnovers.
Limit them to 9 or 10 instead of 17 and we win by 30.
Its coming along.

I agree. UNC is the team in my opinion, even before the season began. Paige takes them to slightly higher level. I think I'd vomit if they end up winning it all, but I'm not sure I trust their guards just yet.

Given their mediocre point guards, and if there's a game where Paige isn't hitting (it's happened before), they could be in real trouble if they face a team with legit guards.

I feel our bigs will be decent as a collective group in time. It just sucks somewhat having to wait out the process, but it is what it is and was also the case in 2011 and 2014.

People last December were saying we were absolutely unstoppable. Period. The teams that are playing their best this early often come up short in March. I want UK to be peaking in late February.

Yet they still struggled to beat Harvard over the weekend. And Harvard is 2-6.

Yes they are a good outside shooting team, but no way they keep up that nearly 50% pace. That'll drop down to the high 30's which I would kill for us to shoot.

Tonight 12-20 from the 3-point line - 60% vs. a overwhelmed Holy Cross team. Greene 5-6 from 3-point line coming back from a shorten suspension of 5 games. Hard to maintain that level of shooting.

Actually was 3-4 from three 2-2 from two and 1 of 1 from the free throw line for 14 points (one of the 2 point fg included an and one).

crazy stat, if Kansas misses their next 35 three point shot attempts they will still be shooting 40% as a team

Every team is allowed to have a game where they just seem to go through the motions. After a solid start that was what happened against Harvard. Harvard was playing the 3pt line and wanting us to try and score inside. If Ellis is struggling and playing soft then scoring inside just isn't going to be easy. Also without Selden for most of the 2nd half because he picked up his 4th foul early on seemed to hurt our offense.

Just like UK, KU will look like a completely different team a month from now as Diallo and Bragg (hopefully) become bigger parts of the rotation.

Why the heck did we agree to play this game anyways? Cal has got some serious stones but as of right now all I see happening in that game is us getting our **** pushed in.

I think it's part of the SEC/B12 challenge. KU got a home game last year too, but apparently that privilege is reserved for them and Iowa State.

KU and Sparty are title contenders but don't you all realize that they're two of the most experienced teams that have a chance? They're not going to get much better. They should look better than us right now, that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

KU, unc, and Sparty all have decent teams this year who can make a run at the title. With that being said I Trust what Cal does in March over a lol those teams.

***I think the conferences themselves set it up (Big XII / SEC Challenge). Besides it should be KU at Rupp next season.

48%, wow. that's great, gettin' it out of their system before tourny time.

This - either they're going to regress to the mean, or their 6 major 3 point shooters are, on average, as good as Doron Lamb.

Which is more likely, I'll leave up to the people reading this.

I still bet they won't win it all. They'll choke or run out of time.

Greene is a freak. Besides Curry, I've never seen someone with a more dangerous stroke from behind the arc. Not saying his shot from anywhere on the floor is even close to Steph, but from 3 it's like NBA Jam "On Fire!" mode.

His antics off the court and attitude is killing any chance of him seeing consistent minutes for his time left there unless he ever gets his chit together.

Everyone has to go thru their 20's. It is a hard process. Harder for some. Greene is in the latter category.
