Because it deprives them of a Quad 1 win and gives them a Quad 1 loss, resulting in a lowering of their NET, meaning our win against them is less valuable.

Despite their two losses they are still 5th in kenpom. NET isn't out but that will be similar. Duke could lose 10 games and still be a top 10 NET team. So no, our win won't be any less valuable. Fuk Duke.
