I see Baylor dutifully assumed their role as the Washington Generals. I wish we played in that league.
These Big 12 teams play KU the complete opposite as to how SEC teams play UK on the road.

This is comedy. The Big FIX bows down to Kansas; choking every game possible, or getting an apology from the Big FIX. What's comedy is that Kansas wouldn't have won the SEC in three of the last four years. The last time Kansas failed to win at least a share (not all titles are outright) was the last time another Big FIX school went to the Final Four. That's OK, because the BIG FIX won't allow Kansas or Iowa State to win in football (except for 2007 when Kansas played no one).
A serious question. How can you justify calling the Big 12 over rated all the time,when UK plays in the SEC? This league is the biggest joke in BB of any Power 5 league currently. You also might wait until the SEC actually wins a challenge against the Big 12 first before you can make that statement. Please also keep in mind that UK blew a 21 point lead to Tennessee a team that lost to TCU. UK fans lets not let the facts get in the way of common sense.
Facts.....National Titles from each conference & pick any timeframe era also as a bonus. Proofs in the puddin pal.

Because however good or bad the SEC is has nothing to do with whether or not the B-12 is overrated. I actually was saying the opposite earlier this season, but they proved once again that they are all bark and no bite when conference play comes around. They can beat each other up, but wet their pants when they play KU. And does it need to be pointed out to you that in this miraculous run, no team other than KU has made a FF. NOT ONE team, NOT ONE time.

In a few years I think the SEC will be much better than it is now. Talent has never been a problem, it's been coaching. But now we are getting some new blood that hopefully will turn it around.
With this years parity across the board along with all of the better teams lows and highs I don't think anyone can know how these brackets will turn out. What if NONE of the acclaimed blue bloods didn't reach the F4? Think about it seriously. Could be a helluva lot of crushed pride this year more than ever.
Just about any team in the top 20 can reach the final four this year.

Agreed. Losing Donovan was hard, but the additions of Johnson, Pearl, Howland, and Barnes should end up being an aggregate plus, especially Avery and Bruce.
I also haven't ruled-out the option of Donovan returning some day. NBA season has twice as many games, plus playoffs. I wonder how he's adjusting to all the road travel.

As I look at the college basketball landscape this season, I see a collection of 1 and 2 seeds ripe for early round losses. The notion that there is a great conference this season would be hard to defend.
I find it interesting that Jayhawk fans such as you would dare talk trash when, going back decades, your conference has one of the most pedestrian amounts of Final Four appearances and national championships.
And your attempt to use the Tennessee game as some sort of gauge has less to do with some actual sort of objective measurement and more to do with yet another young Kentucky team trying to figure it out. I know with your overall lack of OAD studs coming to Kansas, it's hard for your to understand how the process works sometimes, but I can assure you that 7 losses for a young UK team coming off a mass exodus the year before, is completely natural.
It's one thing for a conference champion to get thumped by 32 vs UK..
But to lose by 25 to Temple the same season?

What are the yearly NCAA tourney results for this decade long conference champion?
If you can't get past the 2nd round and teams like Temple prison rape you, just maybe all those conference teams you beat were not as great as they were hyped to be...?
So a conference that has the national champ in it is considered the best conf regardless of what the rest of the league does?
Since when are we playing to win Big 12-SEC challenges? Check the record in the last decade of SEC teams in the tourney compared to the beloved Big 12. I suspect that you will find that the SEC fairs better.
The actual topic is the Big12 as a whole being overrated each year.
Has nothing to do with any other conference.
That said, if that conference has many less titles than other P5 schools over a period of time it is a legitimate point.

KU's record this year is an absolute mirage. KU has not lost 1 close game, even though they have been outplayed or trailed the majority of the game atleast 5 times. The only consistent occurrence in these games has been incredible one-sided officiating.
1) UK game ends with KU shooting last
17 free throws & 10 more in OT.
2) OU game ends with 13 consecutive
free throws in 2nd & 3rd OT while
Kansas commits not 1 foul during
same time period.
3) 2nd OU game ends with 1 of the
worst charge calls in CB history
against Hield that turns game to the
Dirty birds, not mentioning several
other questionable calls in
crunch time even though game is at
OU.
4) Baylor leads Kansas by 2 with under
6:00 to go @ Baylor. KU proceeds
Commit 0 fouls the rest of the way
while BU is whistled for 7.
Having KU ranked in the top 10 again this year is silly. Can't believe the media or analysts don't call the corrupt
Big 12 out on this. This crap happens every stinking year, allows KU to be seeded atleast 2 seedlines higher than
they should be, & I have to be constantly reminded of how these candy a$$es are on this remarkable
streak that is built on absolute horse

I don't care about the SEC. You don't see UK fans bragging about winning it. It does a helluva job preparing us for March, though. Can't say the same about the Big 12 for Kansas.
Kansas fans have been picking this fight since Calipari got here and we're finally responding. It's hilarious that a team we've owned throughout history is constantly talking ish, but whatever. I enjoy it. Anytime a Kansas fan runs their mouth, it's like a lob.
