Very possible. And I would totally get it. But if that’s how you felt step away from the wheel and take that damn ambassador role he would freaking kill.
It’s beyond obvious that you haven’t listened to the KSR after game show in AWHILE.
Of course we won’t definitively know unless Cal or players discuss what the plan was on that possession.
But watching it in real time, and on replay, it all looked very intentional and orchestrated. It didn’t appear they just randomly set up a back screen and had Thiero crashing toward the rim on the backside. Reed appeared to be looking for it the whole way, and unfortunately the Zags sniffed it out.
Look, had the play worked, it would have been considered a genius call. But the reality is it was generally going to have a low percentage chance of succeeding. I would MUCH rather have had someone penetrating and attacking the basket for a layup/put back dunk/foul and bonus free throws.

Yeah. Thought all of this for a few years. It's abundantly clear. Just look at his benny lineup comment. And his complete refusal to play Shep, Reeves, and Dillingham at the same time. He knows that's what the fans want. His recent comments in the past few days talking about ''im the worst in the country''. And his remark about fans being mad at only 1 title with 7 all stars. He knows what we're saying. He won't play them because he wants to spite us. He's awful. And anyone who thinks Cal wouldn't do that and how could he that's not his job! He doesn't care. He knows he's untouchable. He doens't talk to Barnhart. In his mind he OWNS this program.

This was another game that Duke and Kansas win, we just had on the wrong jersey. They will be higher seeds, and they will do just as little as we do come tournament time.. I wonder why.

He was pretty rough on him at times last year too though. Basically said the only reason he won’t be replaced was because of his astronomical buyout. That is why Calipari has cut him off . That's what playing against the refs is. We played well enough to beat Gonzaga today, but the countless no calls on our end meant we had to play that much better.

Yeah our paint defense and rebounding were what cost us the game. Both were ridiculously bad.

Winning or losing doesn't mean one team played 100% perfect and the other team played 100% poorly. If that awful Bradshaw lob went in and we won in overtime, does it mean that Kentucky and Cal played a perfectly executed game? Of course not.
Auburn won because they shot 50 free throws the other night. What if they didn't get home help and lose?
Officiating matters. Kansas and Duke would be given tonight's game. Kentucky instead had to fight for it, and we couldn't pull it off.
