Kriisa addresses a possible return next year

lol, it’s like they just pulled him outta bed at 3 am, put him in the corner and started an interrogation. He’s holding up well…” i know nothing, I know nothing!” I think one more minute of questioning and they would have broke him into saying “alright guys, you got me, I’m gone next year!”.

Eh the rumor is that he's St Johns bound. I don't see him working under Pitino but who knows. I'm definitely fine with him leaving. He played zero defense.

I really hope BG sticks around but he's rumored to be leaving too.

This is actually good news. I don't see him wanting to compete with Lewis for the backup point guard position, and that's exactly what he would be doing if he came back.

Pope is going to get an elite lead guard from the portal, and Kerr knows it.

He’s running into the end of his college life cycle is what I took from that. Maybe he can redshirt and transfer and do something but his numbers and results weren’t that compelling to me. Entertaining as all hell and I'll always respect him getting back on d with an injury but he was a fit for this season, not next, I’d think.

I like his competitive personality but I think this is more that he doesn't know if there will be a spot for him on next year's team. He doesn't have to start but will definitely want to be somewhere he can get some play time during his last year.

Is it just me or does it look like he’s lost a ton of weight ?

Up to 15 scholarships right? He can come back and add depth, but I can understand if he wants more minutes than he may see next year as his last go.

I think this was a one year deal. He was what this team needed this year. But, we will have better options in the portal.

I also think Pope knows whether he could have played this year and been effective. If, as I suspect, he could have been playing for the last month and chose not to to get another year, I don’t think Pope will bring him back. As he has shown, he is all about winning. If you are able to play and choose not to, he isn’t going to throw you under the bus, but he is going to keep that in mind for the next year.

Be nice to have his experience and energy but hopefully he's recruited over. Maybe that's the case or he's chasing a bag. If he doesn't return it sure appears odd.

If I’m Kriisa I’d look for one more college paycheck. I’m sure he can probably play somewhere overseas when he’s done but probably needs that last year to put up some stats.

I’m not sure he has the option of coming back here unless it’s on the cheap. We need better guards than he can be at this point.

his answer is correct since the team is about to start the ncaa tournament. He got injured playing for us and if I remember correctly he had an injury before the season.

If Pope wants him, I trust he will be useful to us.

I don’t think Kerr will return next season but I do expect Lewis to be the starting pg next season.

Did they win it all? Make the title game or final four? Elite 8? I'll hang up and listen.
No. I don’t believe so. Believe it or not, upsets happen in the tournament and often teams lose before they should. He was good enough to start for the best team in the country. As a sophomore.
