Your example is flawed because as a prospective employer, you hold the power position. As a prospective basketball recruit, Kobi holds all the power. Thus my interpretation remains valid and on point. It was tweeted, so condensed. He probably meant to say, "Kentucky is telling me I'm their guy [for point guard]" versus "Kentucky is where I want to go" which is being inferred in this thread.

That said, Kentucky probably leads for this kid's services, but he will probably wait to see if Murray, Ulis and Briscoe stick around (which may be likely for Briscoe and Ullis), in which case he needs to decide he can play with two other point guards on the roster, much like Murray had to decide.

UK will be better than Kansas regardless.

Yes, he's saying that he is our top target, he's not saying "i'm their guy and going to sign there".

Simmons is UK's top PG prospect and UK is the heavy favorite to land him (he grew up a UK fan with his dad). At the SG spot, UK will land either Monk or Alkins (UK could land both). UK is also pursuing Killeya-Jones at PF and is a heavy favorite. Don't be surprised if Ayton reclassifies and ends up at UK or Duke. Also, watch out for Marques Bolden (plays for the same AAU handler as Randle).

I know one thing Simmons is not going to Kansas he is KENTUCKY all the way. It dont take a tocket scientist to figure that out. I also say we Land Monk and Ayton will reclassifie to 16 commit to UK and be the best player in the country. Him, Monk, Simmons is going to be a specail group at UK along with few other 5 stars we land. We will have #1class with 3 of the top ten players in country and overall #1 with Ayton. Even if Duke gets Giles and Tatum we will be set with those 3 i mentioned plus few other top 30 players in country. Class is going to be a monster when its all said and done.

Now thats is pretty funny just show him the quote Simmons made. Nuff said he will be a Cat, not a gayhawk, or musketeer. Lol Xavier yeah mmmkay. Xavier gets good players but they are not getting him over Kentucky. They could beat Kansas but not us for a highly touted recruit. That's CAL'S priority no waY Xavier ain't happening sorry bout your luck.

That's strange actually. Seems like everything that I have heard and read indicates that Arkansas has the lead for Malik. I hope that it is inaccurate but I fear it will be difficult to pull him out of Arkansas. My brother was a graduate assistant under Richardson there and from what I've heard from some folks is an extreme amount of pressure is being put on him to stay and be a Razorback. Will be a tough battle I'm sure.
