At about the 8:15 mark of the recording on YouTube, the announcer starts talking about Prickett and how Pitino was real high on him as a player. Apparently, Pitino said that if Prickett improved his jumper that he could be another Larry Bird. Al Mcquires response was was pretty funny. I guess as a 15 year old, I didn't see how Pitino was that FOS. I guess he's always been one for hyperbole!

they had the guards to beat the press and they were scoring on it early. our roster completely depleted them. we wore them down and fouled a lot of them out. one of pitino's better wins here imo. we were on fire in the regional but we sped that game extra fast and you could see why. sura and cassell could ball.
