Really? I didn’t see that, but I guess somebody published the story before they were suppose toOle Miss is denying it, guess we’ll see!
Latteral move? How many NC and Conference Titles does Ole Miss have since 1990. I am not a AU fan but Ole Miss is not on the same level as AU. The right hire at AU would leave Ole Miss in the dust after 1 season. Ole Miss cannot out recruit or out spend AU if they start winning again.Like someone said above, this would be a lateral move at best. Don’t believe he’d leave for Auburn. Ole Miss is in a better spot as it is.
Yes, Auburn has had a couple of special seasons the last 18-20 years but they have lost 47 games since their 2013 national championship appearance.Latteral move? The boosters control every program. More so now with NILAuburn would be a lateral move at best IMO. The boosters control that program
Of course they do, but no where had a booster like AU had who ran the athletic department. It was a banker named Louder, not sure about spelling, who ran it for years, now it's the guy who owns Yellar wood. A company that treats and sells lumber. The boosters control every program. More so now with NIL
I worked for over 20 years for a law firm in Birmingham. I could not believe how much influence the man that owned the firm had with Alabama football.Of course they do, but no where had a booster like AU had who ran the athletic department. It was a banker named Louder, not sure about spelling, who ran it for years, now it's the guy who owns Yellar wood. A company that treats and sells lumber.
So we have a reason to throw stones losing possibly three games we thought were in the bag, including OM.Ole Miss had a chance to have a remarkable season with their easy schedule this season. Instead they lose at home to the worst Bama team in over a decade and get blown out by LSU and Arkansas.
LSU, Florida, Pre-Saban Bama and Tennessee all have been booster driven to shambles.. it just means moreOf course they do, but no where had a booster like AU had who ran the athletic department. It was a banker named Louder, not sure about spelling, who ran it for years, now it's the guy who owns Yellar wood. A company that treats and sells lumber.
Yes he is.Is Lane Jimmy Sexton's client? If so, this is just Jimmy working his magic and spreading false rumors. Look for Ole Miss to offer a new contract extension any day.
Bobby Lowder Grumpy.Of course they do, but no where had a booster like AU had who ran the athletic department. It was a banker named Louder, not sure about spelling, who ran it for years, now it's the guy who owns Yellar wood. A company that treats and sells lumber.
Sounds like us.Ole Miss had a chance to have a remarkable season with their easy schedule this season. Instead they lose at home to the worst Bama team in over a decade and get blown out by LSU and Arkansas.
But Lane is loyal to nobody. He would take the job and shop around for a better offer. Maybe they deserve each other.Auburn is a cesspool. Since Ralph Jordan, Pat Dye left as a result of investigation and every other coach has been fired. Tubbwrville’s 9 years is the most any coach has lasted. Lane would be a fool to take that job, IMO.
The way he has, does and will piss off TN fans makes him OK by me.But Lane is loyal to nobody. He would take the job and shop around for a better offer. Maybe they deserve each other.
True.Lane would be a fool to take that job, IMO.
OLE MISS CAN DENY ALL THEY WANT, HOWEVER HES GONNA BE AT AUBURN
I think this may be what Kiffin is thinking. Although, losing at home to Miss State isn't very impressive for his resume. He’s waiting on Saban to retire because he wants the Bama job. He won’t take Auburn, he knows that would keep him from EVER being the Tide HC.
Or not-
