Lane Kiffin sure is a whiny wimpy public speaker to be the head coach of a major football program.
He actually was complimentary of Stoops in a passive aggressive way
He probably spent most of the PC discussing all the “injuries”.
His comments:
- Stoops has never tried a long throw on 4th down in his life in the last 3 minutes...
- We didn't close them out, we had 'em
- UK's defense shut down UGA, not surprised they shut us down, they're gonna give people problems this year
- Stoops was obviously reacting to the criticism of punting last week and his play on 4th down was out of character
He seemed REALLY subdued, like he didn't want to be in this PC.

I wish Stoops was out of character last week.
I still give Kiffin credit for bailing on UT the way he did.
He said the defense is legit, he's been saying it all week how Georgia at times could do nothing against them. Deon Walker is elite.
A reporter asked about Kentucky's D-line over matching the Ole Miss offensive line and Kiffin said yes Kentucky is very long and athletic and that are a big problem for anyone that plays them...honestly he looked a little shell-shocked.

And two weeks ago we had 3 TOs not just 2; it was the right decision 2 weeks ago and it was the right decision today.
Stoops is now a living legend in the state of Ky and has zipped up all the naysayers..
Stoops didnt call the go route you dufus; our OC did and what did you expect on 4th and 7 another QB keeper?

A lot of folks hate Kiffen but I like him. He's like Spurrier without the Ahole shtick. He's cocky but he's confident. Still. We seemed to break his heart today and it was glorious.
When we punted to UGA, we actually had FOUR timeouts with the 2:00.
Not making excuses for the man but his dad recently passed away. Up until now he may have submersed himself in the positives going on within his program as a coping mechanism. I’m not equating death with a football game but when you’re in mourning, and he clearly is, you seek anything positive to prop yourself up. I’m sure he spoke with his dad a lot and took advice from him like any other son would at times. It’s tough when you lose that connection. You have to find another way. The ball bounced our way yesterday, something that rarely happens. The officiating was actually pretty good for a change. Sometimes you get humbled in life as a way to force you to find a way back. We needed that win yesterday. It partially healed us after losing to SC. Now we have a second chance on the season.
