1. Clean football w/o penalties or turnovers on offense
2. 5-7 explosive plays on offense which will be extremely hard- UGA is very disciplined
3. Stay ahead of the sticks and 1st down is imperative
4. Keep UGA off schedule and behind the sticks
5. Hit the QB early and often
6. Jump on em early and not get behind
7. Stay calm in the storm. It’s a 60 min game

1. You aren't going to play a game without a few penalties in a place like that, keep them minimal and try to avoid the presnap penalties. We can by -1 on TOs and still win. more than that highly unlikely.
2. I would say 80 yards of explosive play which might be 3 or 6.
3. Not as important to stay ahead of the sticks with this offense as we routinely pick up 3rd and longs. Of courses it always helps.
4. Same for UGA they can pick up 3rds and 7 type downs. It's more important to keep the ball out of the hands of their best player as much as possible, Bowers and let the running backs try to beat us.
5. Not sure we get that many hits on the QB but getting pressure in the middle and making him move in the pocket is key
6. Yes UK starts fast, UGA starts slow, need to score early, to take the crowd out of the game.
7. Bring great energy and effort, and focus on each play. Hit them in the mouth early.

It’s gonna take luck. We’ve been in this position a few times now looking like we could contend but we just don’t have the personelle. I agree with all said but for it to all come together would be luck. The thing is we are due. We’ve been knocking on the door of flipping cfb on its head for some time.

A game reminiscent of classics in the SEC.

Two defensive, line of scrimmage focused programs battling between the 30’s.

The offense must replicate the running/blocking of last Saturday, but clean up the missed passes and drops.

Drop Walker, and/or another biggun into zone coverage a few times to deny Bowers shallow crossing patterns, and go big-on-big tackling him.

Bowers is special.

Walker is specialer!!

Go with the hot hand on offense, whether by land or by air.

Punt ‘em deep, block your assignments, and meet ‘em in the hole.

Games like this one are why God invented football.

Cats 21- Dogs 17.

I think all of you have good lists and everyone of them is fair. The team has a lot it needs to do against UGA to pull out the impossible.

I want UK to win so badly. I absolutely have nothing against UGA, but they have been the roadblock for Stoops to finally get what he deserves at UK — an SEC EAST championship.

Killing some time at the airport and reading some good stuff on here.
I think the refs will have a gigantic impact on this game. Will we get a fair flag? Will they call at least some of the holds on Walker? If they do our defense can be what wins this game. But a part of me knows the league office is not going to let that happen. Home cooking will prevail.

Listening to ESPN on the way home a few hours ago Trevor said KY needs to pound the rock and tackle Bowers. Do not let him get those YAC yards. We do that he likes our chances.

If there's a chance to sneak out a win against Georgia this is the year to do it. But make no mistake, they still have dudes. I think a quick start and early lead is key. I believe after watching lots of Florida tape, they will try to stop the run and make us pass. We have to complete passes and catches to have a chance. I mean Davis could get loose again, but it will be tough.

I think after watching the Auburn game live, Mr. Hack nailed it with this:

Drop Walker, and/or another biggun into zone coverage a few times to deny Bowers shallow crossing patterns, and go big-on-big tackling him.

Those shallow crossers saved Beck several times and extended drives, both to Bowers and to others.

A ton of keys to this game if we are to win.

O-line needs to play like last week, Q-back needs to hit our receivers when open and the receivers need to catch them. lol, Easy enough, right?

Bowers!! My favorite college player (non UK) in the last 45 or so years. I hope he sucks tomorrow.

Not sure you can stop completely, but contain him and limit his touches would be HUGE!
Yea, IMO the kid should def be a finalist for the heisman and I’d LOVE to see a non qb get it. Pretty much guaranteed that Williams will be the winner this year from USC, but personally I’d rather see bowers get it and break the cycle.

If UK can contain him to less than a 100 yards we’ve had a great day

I dropped my $200 bonus bet on All Day Ray to get +125 rushing yards tomorrow. I think, like Auburn, we'll continue to use traps and counters fairly successfully tomorrow and be able to get some rushing yards out of that. UGA is definitely not going to implode on D against us, but we were a machine last week and if that continues like I hope, they won't be able to snuff it out completely. Not 300+, but I think we can get 200+ between Ray and his understudies plus any jet sweep yards.

I also think we'll pull a sweet and successful sweep and maybe a couple of razzle-dazzle plays if we get behind or stall. I trust Coen will dress things up with new wrinkles to keep UGA's D off-balance and our D will travel. The only big concern I have is containing Bowers just enough for 4 quarters and that McConkey is back full-time. He's a load too and him playing at 100% definitely gives Brad White much more to be concerned with. McConkey and is routes and speed are underrated. UGA running backs are talented, but I'm not sure they're a level above Florida's this year.

1. Run the ball well
2. Don't make stupid mistakes like roughing the passer on 3rd down
3. Don't get tired

Coaches need to have a clean game as well. Get personnel and defensive calls in quickly. No looking to sidelines as offense is snapping.

One more thing, we shouldn't go down there with the attitude that we are the underdog trying to knock off the favorite even they were are 14 point dogs, instead they need to go down there with the attitude that they r
We did that last year. Result: lost the game.
That probably wasn't the reason we lost, I think it may have had more to do with the 6 points our anemic offense put up.

Offense is where we are weak over the last three years - we've had the best defense against UGA for their dynasty run.

We need to establish balance, running and throwing the football - I'm very concerned about the offense's ability to do this against UGA. Running, UGA was weak on the edges last week against Auburn...attacking the middle will probably not end well.

Our defense needs to do what our defense does...our passing game needs to finally put it all together. Chances of doing that on the road at night in Athens? Show me don't tell me.

Stop Bowers top priority.

Reading more about Georgia, surprised to see how bad their defense struggled with the run. We could really get some traction there.

Not even close? - that's great news!

I think we will definitely win then.
Hope so. You’ve seen Georgia play this year. Bennett isn’t behind center. Their dline is nowhere close to the level it was.
Bowers being stopped is important because he’s their main piece now. Last year they had other weapons

I think we need to be at least +2 in the turnover margin with one of the turnovers leading to a short field or defensive score.
