This is a glass half-full thread.
The scenario is what it is tonight, so I'd like to manifest optimism and discuss what we need for a huge win tonight.
1. Obviously, Jaxson playing the point is happening. We were able to be a great Gonzaga PG in that matchup so if Robinson can minimize turnovers and use his length on defense to bother passing lanes and shots from Ziegler that's gotta be on the short list of what we need to go right.
2. We need Oweh to force Lanier into an off night. No doubt about it, we'll need a warm to cool night from Lanier. Cold is probably too much to hope for, and a hot night sinks us pretty quickly.
3. Prolific night from one of Brea, Otega, Robinson, or Williams? Gonna need someone to have the hot hand tonight to win...
4. Bench intensity. Perry, Noah, and Chandler have a real opportunity to do their version of Farmer, Pel, and Feldhaus here with intensity, smart basketball, and plenty of made shots. Think Perry and Noah in particular need to come in looking for blood from the 3pt line.
5. Garrison "The Good" - needing that added minute support from the bench, can we get a breakout performance from Garrison? Length, athleticism, speed, and maybe he sees his 3pt shot fall a couple times?
There's my top 5. Anyone else see a path?
