I believe Roy (like most coaches) tells these kids whatever he thinks they want to hear, to get them to commit.

Where's the proof of that accusation?
We hate it when other fan bases trash Cal on things that aren't true, but we have no problem throwing jabs. It's called being hypocritical.

Roy gets them to come, and then talks them into staying an extra 1-3 years. I thought this was common knowledge.

Vanderbilt. Former top 3 player who fell in the rankings because of injury NBA wasn't fooled projected at 10 in the mock draft way above his ranking last time I saw one of our kids have that much higher preseason draft stock than ranking was Towns. 6ft9 elite defender long even for a 6ft9 guy guard handle and elite passer for a forward decent athlete and his shot is much improved if his shot is there look out this kids handle is good enough to back up pg in a pinch can legit guard 4 positions. Their is a good reason the USA team was plus 15 on the floor at the hoop summit
