Kerr to the portal

He is from DC, but he always loved the wildcats. I have seen couple times wearing UK gear.

Should I say , what other said about me , that if you consider Laettner as a great NBA, maybe you are a Duke fan? Lol

I have seen Laettner play …. What he could do in college he could not do in NBA. He would rebound and pass and some score but was almost based on his college reputation. When Jordan come to the wizards they brought all Jordan’s friends and rivals from Oakley to Laettner….. let me tell you he had a e eye for this guy just like he had for Kwame Brown as number one pick , or trading Rip Hamilton for Jerry Stackhousse.

I answered why Pete Pistol didn’t have the same success in Nba as college. He should have.

C. Laettner in my book is at the same level in nba as Plumlee. Nothing special but collected checks because where they played in college, traded from one team to another based on connections.
Plumlee is a career 8.1ppg scorer and hasn’t sniffed an all-star selection. I’ll give it to you — you have confidence in spades. That was a real bold take there

Laettner made the dream team . The only college player. Ahead of Shaq. Cause of who he was in 92 in college… Please tell me what he did in NBA? Pope also played in NBA . He was our captain on champion team, what did he do in NBA?
Pete Pistol career could have been different but he was always on the wrong team and he finally made it on the right team he was done because of injuries.
Career NBA statistics
Points11,121 (12.8 ppg)
Rebounds5,806 (6.7 rpg)
Assists2,224 (2.6 apg)

NBA All Star (1997)

He wasn't LBJ, but he wasn't a bad player. Less than 10% of players EVER become All-Stars. So, that's a decent accomplishment.

Now excuse me whilst I go drink some bleach for having to stand up a bit for effing Christian Laettner. Eww.

I like how this discussion went….. from cleaning the house comment you guys are on Google to verify and pick on everything I say. That’s fine . I don’t mind. How many teams did he change in nba since you are into verifying business?

Thank you . Now what’s the average points that Laetnner average at Duke ? Compare that with what Mashburn average at Kentucky vs NBA.

Which one was considered better in college CL or Mashburn? How about NBA?

Do the same analysis for Pete Pistol.

My opinion Mashburn , Laetner and Pete were starts in College. Mashburn was star in NBA , Laetner just a role player. Pete should have been a star in nba if was not for the teams he played and injuries.

Peace. It’s been fun.Go Cats!

You can’t be a Kentucky fan to paraphrase another poster by defending CL. Just kidding ! It’s all good . You made ma laugh trying to defend CL just for the sake of argument. I respect that ! Cheers!

You were wrong every which way and you're grasping for straws bringing up different talking points every single time.

Also funny seeing the miserable trolls that are liking your posts, such a strange way to show you're a 'fan', reeling in nothing but negativity.

Which in return keeps us from building a F4 team. If your team runs after every season how does a team build chemistry and a play style. Just seems like a war we might not win.

I really don't understand why so many people on here seem to acknowledge and be ok with the fact that Kerr could have come back and played for us at the end of the year when we thin at PG, but chose not to for strictly personal reasons. How is that any different than a OAD sitting out to protect their draft stock? If you are on the team and you it won't hurt you further you should get your butt on the court if you can help period, seems like some people aren't principled and pick and choose when they need to put the team first.
