Kerr returning?

Time to move away from college basketball, Kerr.

Seriously though, the guy is going to be 25 next year, and quite frankly, it is embarrassing for any 24+ to be playing college basketball.
Who gives a damn if you’re embarrassed. The dude who torched us this past weekend from Auburn, Baker-Masara is 25

Thanks for proving my point.

A 25 year old has no business playing college basketball, whatsoever.

18 year old freshmen should never, ever, be expected to have to play against 25 year old. Ever. It makes a mockery of the sport. Guess you don't care. Glad you enjoyed a 25 year old mopping up at Rupp.

Who gives a rats ass? It’s legal. Stay behind the times if you want. I want the best avialble talent on the team regadless of age.

I mean I think it's silly, too. But that's the rules. Is it really that big if a deal if a 25 year old is still playing for us?

I would actually support Kentucky signing Tracy McGrady if it's somehow legal. I would take a middle-aged Tracy McGrady over anything in the portal.

When did I say it wasn't legal?

I said it makes a mockery of the sport. Anybody that age that is still playing college basketball needs to freaking grow up and do something with their life instead of trying to beat up on 18-23 year olds. Beyond embarrasing.

Once again, stay behind the times if you so choose. You’ll just end up getting more and more frustrated

I'm so sorry you have to deal with this, I hope you can find a way to cope

Kerr was so bad during his nine games this year that I have to remind myself he had a long track record before then.

I really hope the team doesn’t have to rely on him for anything.

Are we still signing a starting PG from the portal?

If so, great news for veteran depth purposes.
I truly believe Lewis will surprise a lot of people.. Also with him and kerr you have a good combo. Young athletic talented freshman. Experience with kerr. Question is can Lewis provide enough defense at the point?

In nil you have to be smart how you build your roster, and last year Pope had limited fits available. I think you sign 2 PG then you have to get a combo guard. And I think Johnson fits that bill! You can't spend your $ on a 3rd string PG because it'll hurt you somewhere else!
And kerr might be a option where it doesn't cost you a lot, and could play 1-2 if needed!

So judgmental, goodness. Can only imagine that you are an incredibly accomplished success story telling guys that they should be embarrassed and not doing anything with their lives.

I dont trust a freshman PG unless he's Wall or Knight or Fox caliber.

Most 18 year old freshmen shouldn’t be playing much against anyone. They can stick around and play against 18 year olds when they’re 22/23

Nah...not being judgmental in the slightest. If you are 25 years old, you have no business playing college basketball. None. Time to move on to either professional basketball somewhere, or go get a job just like everyone else. Beyond embarrassing.

How old are the guys in the NBA that these 18-23 year olds are hoping to be playing against sooner rather than later?

That's enough Internet for you.

Ill take em in a backup PG role, that can also come in and play off the ball. Pope better find a stud portal PG. Nobody is gonna give the dude a pass for injuries if we lose double digit games again next season. Just the nature of the beast.

The entire sport with NIL is a mockery of college in all sports.

If you're so embarrassed, you are free to find another team ya know? No one is making you be a fan. And just an FYI, lots of 18 year olds make it in to the NBA. Should the 25 year olds go easy on them? Honestly, there's not much difference in college and pros anyway, they're all getting paid.
