He played 21 minutes and had 12 assists. Pretty impressive.
The behind the back pass got him some splinter time. The best think about it was Butler had a off game and the coach went more with Kerr in the 2nd half.
Who knows maybe Tuesday will be Butler's game.
Past coach would have stayed with the cold hand.
AbsolutelyHe played 21 minutes and had 12 assists. Pretty impressive.
He’s really good as a passer. I think being a facilitator is when he’s at his best. Keep doing that and he will be super valuable. Shoot when open.He played 21 minutes and had 12 assists. Pretty impressive.
My guess is that Kriisa will play less in close games, as he is a defensive liability. It will be a 20/20 split most games with Krissa and Butler.
Kid just had a 12 assist game and you nit picking his defense. Only UK fans.My guess is that Kriisa will play less in close games, as he is a defensive liability.

To be honest, I have been pleasantly surprised with his defensive play. He gives great effort on both ends of the floor. My guess is that Kriisa will play less in close games, as he is a defensive liability.
And should’ve. Careless. It’s an interesting dynamic. Butler isn’t much of a passer or facilitator. Not much of a finisher, but he is capable of getting downhill. And boy can he defend. But Kriisa is the straw that stirs the drink when he’s in. After watching four games I honestly think the best lineup is Kriisa/Brea/Robinson/Oweh/Williams. The top 7 are all interchangeable. I think there’s a pretty significant drop off after that. I know some are enamored with Garrison, but he’s pretty rough. Almonor and Chandler are limited. Of the three, I think Almonor has the biggest chance to make an impact this season. Knocks down shots and has extremely high IQ on the court. The behind the back pass got him some splinter time.
Chandler looked realll rough today on both ends. Really careless with the ball in the first half. Almost like he was fighting nerves after the initial turnover and it snowballed. And should’ve. Chandler seems like a great kid, but he’s not going to be a regular rotation player once the heat is on in the SEC.Chandler looked realll rough today on both ends. Really careless with the ball in the first half. Almost like he was fighting nerves after the initial turnover and it snowballed.
Probably not this year. He has shown flashes and has the size/athleticism to be a big piece in a year or 2Chandler seems like a great kid, but he’s not going to be a regular rotation player once the heat is on in the SEC.
This isn’t his first rodeo. He isn’t the snowflake some of you are. He will adjust and comeback back fine.Is nobody concerned that Pope just took Butler’s hea
Yep, he went out right after that and sat for a good while. The behind the back pass got him some splinter time.
People who use the word “snowflake”, to a man, are the most fragile people you will meet. This isn’t his first rodeo. He isn’t the snowflake some of you are. He will adjust and comeback back fine.
People who say stuff like “Pope ripped out his heart” while discussing an in game coaching decision are fragile. Much more fragile than Butler.People who use the word “snowflake”, to a man, are the most fragile people you will meet.
It was an opinion reply regarding whether he and Butler will play 20/20 every game at PG … if he plays significantly less minutes than Butler, that would be the reason, other than foul trouble. Kriisa will play a lot and deserves to, of course, but Butler’s defense is special and it will be needed in close games against teams with active guards.Kid just had a 12 assist game and you nit picking his defense. The past coach would have GONE with the cold hand. Almost every time. Player gets hot? To the bench! The best think about it was Butler had a off game and the coach went more with Kerr in the 2nd half.

I say use Butler to get the opponent out of their offense, and use Kriisa to dismantle the opponent's defenseIt was an opinion reply regarding whether he and Butler will play 20/20 every game at PG … if he plays significantly less minutes than Butler, that would be the reason, other than foul trouble. Kriisa can play the off-guard … so he will get minutes there, too.
I might be mistaken, but I'm like 95% sure that heart comment is a dig at some dumb things Cal said.People who say stuff like “Pope ripped out his heart” while discussing an in game coaching decision are fragile. Much more fragile than Butler.
Lol it was a reference to Coach Cal, you’re an absolute candy ass.People who say stuff like “Pope ripped out his heart” while discussing an in game coaching decision are fragile. Much more fragile than Butler.
I assumed that was a joke 🤔This isn’t his first rodeo. He isn’t the snowflake some of you are. He will adjust and comeback back fine.
Garrison can get a little selfish at times trying to make a move down low when the defense has collapsed on him instead of kicking it out to a wide open shooter. He missed a little hook jumper over three guys while Brea stood all by himself at the top of the key. Have seen similar from him three or four times so far.And should’ve. Careless. It’s crazy that Brea could miss his next eight three pointers and still be shooting a better percentage than he did last seasonWe are all going to have to learn to accept the bad with the good when it comes to Kerr. You can't have the flashy, incredible assists without some turnovers too. Nature of the beast.
Speaking of beast, Butler on defense. Best defensive guard we have had in a while.
I suspect in a tight game, key possession.... we might see Butler just because of the defense and more sure ball handling.
Koby is an assassin.
He’s just clueless on offense. Tries to do way too much and has no feel for the flow. Hopefully it gets better, but unless Williams is in foul trouble you really don’t need much more than 5-8 mins from Garrison. And he’s a really good option for that role.Garrison can get a little selfish at times trying to make a move down low when the defense has collapsed on him instead of kicking it out to a wide open shooter. I agree but considering his 2 years away from the game I expect his improvement from freshman to sophomore to be way more than normal, as in breaking out and making himself a draftable player.Chandler seems like a great kid, but he’s not going to be a regular rotation player once the heat is on in the SEC.

I agree wholeheartedly with this!!!very happy with our team but I have no clue what our fans are seeing in Garrison? Extremely raw. Lots of potential but extremely limited and raw rn. I think Chandler will be a really good player for us, in the next year or 2.And should’ve. Careless. It’s an interesting dynamic. Butler isn’t much of a passer or facilitator.
