If Kyrie can behave for the Mavs there is hope for any other basketball player to grow up.Maybe, but if Pope has tried to get him multiple times and took a chance on him once again, there has to be significantly greater benefit than cost. At least that's what I'm hoping.
This is what has me sold on this kid. If Coach Pope likes his game, then he must feel like he will fit into his system nicely. The shooting percentages look great!! We have enough defense around him to allow for creativity.Maybe, but if Pope has tried to get him multiple times and took a chance on him once again, there has to be significantly greater benefit than cost. At least that's what I'm hoping.
🤣🤣🤣I think this is a disaster from an attitude and team chemistry perspective. Dude is another Marshall Henderson from Ole Miss and chirps the entire game. Talks smack the entire time and then if he hits a shot has exuberant obnoxious celebrations. I’ll get trashed for this post which is inevitable but I want it on the record I think this is a HUGE mistake.
13th manI like the stats, but no nothing about him. What type of role do you all see him in? Starter, 6th man type, depth piece?
61 TS% last season in the B12 and over 6 assists per 40 for his career. He has some nice shooting and playmaking ability.
He seems to be a bit TO prone and oddly his rate increased as he got older. Hopefully he can improve on that next season.A lot of Vescovi in his game.
Spark plug! Certainly seems to have the brash part of the game down. If he harnesses it for good and not evil, it could be a super power.13th man
Dave do you know anything about this kid? What kind of roll should the fans expect from him?2nd commit
They had big dreams of us having to forfeit every game next year. These commitments have the trolls out in full force and I’m here for it! Delicious tears, they are! 😋
Better have some guys with that 'attitude' when go on the road in the SEC.I think this is a disaster from an attitude and team chemistry perspective. Dude is another Marshall Henderson from Ole Miss and chirps the entire game. Talks smack the entire time and then if he hits a shot has exuberant obnoxious celebrations. Great 3 point shooter high assists high turn overs last yearDave do you know anything about this kid? What kind of roll should the fans expect from him?
Definitely not a bad option, I was hoping for someone like Richmond. I like his play making ability. He was solid at Arizona. Just didn’t play defense great but we have defenders to help his short comings. This where some say they were hoping it was someone else, lol.
Welcome Kerr Kriisa, two great shooters in one day, and we are not done. It feels good to know we have players who CAN MAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ugh… I don’t like that he sucks lol.A lot of Vescovi in his game.
It’s the turnovers and playing out of control while at Arizona that concerns me. Maybe he grew out of it at WVU but I didn’t watch them last year.Great 3 point shooter high assists high turn overs last year

Setting aside the personality concerns he is a below average defender so it’s a weird fit with the rest of the team build. I also still think there is an alarming lack of dribble penetration ability on the entire team. Couple of guys are okay at it (Butler, Oweh) but we need at least one elite guy.Definitely not a bad option, I was hoping for someone like Richmond. I like his play making ability. He was solid at Arizona. Just didn’t play defense great but we have defenders to help his short comings.
He can definitely shoot the ball.43% 3FG shooter!
He had several careless turnovers last year. They had some talent but the coach they had would make Cal look like a good coach. Forget his name the guy was interim when Huggins got fired. He was awfulIt’s the turnovers and playing out of control while at Arizona that concerns me. Maybe he grew out of it at WVU but I didn’t watch them last year.
Moves the needle a little. Not a star, but not a hack. I too have concerns about his reported brashness not being a good fit for our team. Hopefully it turns out to be misunderstood and ends up being something that gives us a little of the edge we have lacked for several seasons. That said, I will defer to Pope, who has been after this kid for years and obviously knows more about his true character. Could be a guy that wins a few games for us, but one that also loses a few. Good thing is with the depth we are building we can have specialists such as him. Oh, and we have done okay with WVU transfers the past few seasons (Tre was solid before he got hurt)
I agree. That’s why I want a Kadary Richmond or someone like him so bad. Jaxson Robinson would be nice but we need someone with pro ability to break someone down off the dribble when needed.Setting aside the personality concerns he is a below average defender so it’s a weird fit with the rest of the team build. Yes Daffy is warming up nice pickup
