Kentucky's SOS, toughest ever for the Cats?

I don't think the NCAA understands what a Quad is if they have 5 of them.

As of today, there are 12 ranked teams on UK's schedule. Of course, that's variable as some teams may drop out and others enter the Top 25 as the season progresses.

The 1999-2000 Cats had 13 ranked teams on their schedule, going 6-7 against them. Tubby generally played really tough OOC schedules. That year it included 6 games against 5 ranked teams (Maryland twice), plus 7 games against 5 ranked SEC teams (Tennessee and Florida twice each).

The SEC spent decades as a comparatively subpar conference. Face it, that was a contributing factor to Rupp winning 82% of his games. Given that, there can't be many seasons where we played more ranked teams than this year.

Sadly, the days of UK being the favorite every year to win the conference and SECT are long past.

Oops, went off on a slight tangent.

Only 4 of the remaining Quad 1 opportunities are at home - the other 7 are road trips. We are going to have to be able to go on the road and win if we want a good Quad 1 record at season's end.
