<< Kentucky Vs Vandy Game Thread >>

They are turning us over because they are guarding us close enough to get hands on every pass o handoff,We’re standing 3 feet off
Not consistent reffing. Previous games it’s tweet tweet when you guard with hands. This game is like a rugby match. I’m sure not what the staff expected. We must adapt.

We do not have a player who could drive to basket and create offence for others, and this is what you seen

Amari should bully the frontcourt from vandy instead of being bullied

I have no idea what Pope was doing with the lineups in the first half. Hope he explains it postgame.

Second, it's one thing to just get beat because of how well the other team is playing. However, the Cats are showing no intensity and little effort. Looks like the OSU game all over again.

Very concerning that this keeps happening under Pope. Very concerning.

Just a very soft team. No rebounding, no defense, weak with the ball, no fight for the loose balls. Punch them and they wilt. May be looking at a 3 game losing streak.

How do we have TWICE as many fouls as Vandy 😡
We have 2 and Vandy 2. The Refs are not the reason for the way we are playing. If all fouls had been called this half, both teams would have had 10+. This is by FAR the best officiated road game we have had or could expect to have. I hope we don't start blaming the refs. We neeed to blame game plan and HEART that our kids have shown. 50 - 50 balls have been 90 - 10 Vandy. That is HEART.

Vandy is going to keep bringing it, they are not going to get tired and they are going to keep hitting shots. I don’t think we can win this game, to big a hole against a team that would give their two front teeth to beat us.

C’mon man, we bitch when they call fouls, now we’re gonna bitch when they don’t? Some of you are insufferable. It’s unreal.

How the heck did we beat 5 top ten teams! We look like the worst team in the SEC today! A week to heal and get better and this is what we get! Pope you better be finding some athletes and dawgs for next year’s team!

By the looks of it, this team is about to crash hard and losing to Arkansas at home is now a real possibility. That would be a 4 game losing streak if it happens.

Pope had a weak to prepare, he did a poor job, we look like complete ass.

Too many changes in the lineup.

Pope is going to have to make adjustments to the offense. Not that there is film, it is far too easy to shut down. Teams that pressure the high post give us fits. Travis Perry cannot play the point. The moment someone takes a defensive stance on Perry, he has to get rid of the ball. Amari is just not good. Continue to run the offense to the high post is going to result in a significant amount of losses. Hopefully there are adjustments to be made because the current approach ain’t working.

This team isn't even that good right now. Maybe being unranked will wake them up.
And I think we'd all live with that, the honest truth is that the expectations weren't really there to begin the season, with a cobbled-together roster. I wanted to say it earlier, but didn't, and now I'm going to. I think a REALLY BIG PROBLEM in college basketball right now (including UK) is that players start the seasons with their focus on their teammates, being receptive to instruction, aiming to be great. But as the season wears on I think many let their own personal goals get in the way (ie, getting drafted or playing professionally overseas) and they start trying to "get theirs". I think we're seeing that on this team, along with some injuries.
