<<< Kentucky vs dUKe Game Thread >>>

Duke has a squad. I suspect they'll be top 10 and favorite to make a deep run all year.

Kudos to them. Scheyer looks to be the real deal post K. He can coach, and he can recruit.

That Cooper kid will most likely be All American, Wooden Award in addition to first overall. The definition of once in a generation talent.

Interesting observation though, Dukes legs literally gave out at the end. It wasn't just Flagg, I mean all those kids looked beat. Our squad looked like they could play another game.

We won that game, and we really didn't play great. Missed a lot of lay ups, missed a lot of 3s, best shooter wasn't a huge factor tonight.

That was a classic grit game. Hung around, played tough the whole game, never looked great, but never looked beat either...won in the end when it counted.
That's why it's hard to win with freshman lead teams. It's not the talent, it's the strengthening and conditioning.

People aren’t gonna let Cal go. Hell we still discuss RP. People need someone to compare Pope to and it happens Cal was last coach at Camelot. It’d be great to never hear about him but he is in the same conference and the last coach. People are not gonna stop comparing for awhile.

Right, I mean this Kentucky program going forward. Comparing coaches is all we can do. We are nothing like the old regime is my stance. We don't win tonight. BUT we did. That's got nothing do with Cal and everything to do with us.
