Physical second half! Did this with Robinson scoring 1 point. Great early season win.
Much as I can't stand his pompous ass, he played hard and is a very good player.Only 17 years old … game took its toll.
He’s the key to that team, shut him down at all costs.where was proctor in the second half?
Someone else get those going because apparently I have no idea how to post a gif.Gimmie that Daffy!!!
I thought they'd been saying "Honk The Nipple." Boy do I feel silly.I never want to hear the word Konkanipple ever again.
I will take this L everyday of every year. I was so wrong and man am I happy to be wrong. I’m a idiot for that takeSomeone said we need someone who can get bucket. I guess you F around and found out. Lol
It felt that way and then we finally broke throughDude everytime i would check score we’d be down 7-9 points then id check back within 3 …thought it was gonna be one of those games we could never get over that hump….mannnnnnnn LETS GOOOOOOO
Amazing adjustments. That defensive effort in the second half will go down as one of the best in UK history.
They held Duke to 26 second-half points.
We shut down Kanupple too. He was KILLING us in the first. He’s the key to that team, shut him down at all costs.
Pope schooled Scheyer in Scheyer's "dream season."PLUS 14 in the second half.
I thought Brea did a lot of good things in the second half that didn’t involve scoring. All this with very little from our SGs. Robinson isn’t going to play like this all season and Brea will improve his motor

There were only a select few who were only here to see Kentucky lose so they could tell us that Pope isn't ready. What a spectrum in this thread. From we're awful and this is a throw away season to we can play with anyone. Lol
Just wait until UK is 7-0, ranked top 5 in the nation, heading into Clemson and coming off a Caleb Wilson commitment. This game was so huge in many ways... for the 2024/25 season and recruiting.
Put Pope on the map as an elite coach.... he's arrived.
No doubt. As I said earlier, this game in the big picture won’t matter much (clearly much more awesome to win!) and each team will learn a lot. Duke will learn that others have to work for Flagg instead of letting him put everything on his shoulders. They are an excellent team, just like ours.GIve some props to Duke though. They will be a hard out in March. So will we.

When’s the last big time recruit to have this much cramping/cardio issues though? He had major cramping issues in his first 2 games before this too against Maine and West PointOnly 17 years old … game took its toll.
5 for 19 won’t win many games. We must of made an adjustment at half on him. Kinda quite the second half.I know he was great most of the game, but so was Knueppel (sp?). That dude got in the lane a LOT
